The cast of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” is addressing Bravo chatter about their similar looks ahead of the show’s After Show debut. Following the season 1 premiere on April 2, cast members Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi spoke candidly in a newly released teaser about the idea that they “all look alike.”
In the clip, the group acknowledges the comparisons while explaining what makes each one different.
‘RHORI After Show’ Cast Responds to Lookalike Comments
During the “RHORI After Show” teaser, DiMare pushed back on the comparisons while also recognizing where they may come from.
“Let me tell you something: I don’t look like any of these people, I’m sorry,” she said.
However, she added context based on her own viewing experience of another Bravo series. “I do get it,” she admitted, explaining that she once couldn’t tell “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow apart for, like, two seasons.”
Pontarelli agreed the commentary is overblown, calling it “so ridiculous,” but acknowledged that it may take viewers some time to learn the cast.
“It might take a minute,” she said.
Iaconetti also addressed the topic directly, noting that some similarities do exist.
“I think Jo-Ellen and I probably do look alike,” she said, adding that her hair extensions during filming may have contributed to the resemblance.
‘The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ Cast Explains How to Tell Them Apart
The cast also offered specific ways viewers can distinguish each woman on screen.
DiMare joked, “I’m the one with the pink Jeep,” while Pontarelli described herself as “the boss with class who doesn’t get into any cat fights.”
Iaconetti reflected on how her personality has changed since her earlier reality TV days.
“I was so entertaining on my previous show because what would drive me crazy in all of life was, like, finding my happily ever after,” she said. “And now, that checklist from my 20s is, like, checked off.”
Tiberi added humor to the conversation, saying, “If you see someone not speaking and she’s crying, that’s Ashley.”
At the same time, the group emphasized that their personalities set them apart more than their appearances.
“I think that they’re looking at brunettes with big lips,” Tiberi said, suggesting that surface-level similarities drive the comparisons.
Swanson agreed, noting that differences become clear over time.
“Our personalities are so different,” she said. “But I guess if you’re not looking super hard, you just see, like, seven brunette women.”
The “RHORI After Show” premieres April 2 before moving to Sundays at 10/9c on BravoTV.com and YouTube. Episodes will also stream on Peacock the following day.
