Bravo is set to premiere its newest show, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” on April 2, before moving to Sunday nights, airing behind RHOA. Now, ahead of the first RHORI episode, the network has released an extended look, featuring two of the show’s stars, Alicia Carmody and Liz McGraw.
In additon to Carmody and McGraw, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” stars Ashley Iaconetti, Rosie DiMare, Kelsey Swanson, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, and Rulla Nehme Pontarelli. RHONJ’s Dolores Catania will appear as a friend of the show.

It’s not uncommon for Bravo to post the first several minutes of new episodes on social media. For RHORI, the network posted a five-minute clip in the early hours of March 26. The first look opens with a wide shot of the beach, then Providence, Rhode Island, before cutting to shots of the city.
After that, fans meet Carmody and her family, including her fiancé and daughter. She can be seen saying to her husband, “I want a glass of red wine. I’m stressed,” as they have extended family visiting. Later, she explained that she has “a big Italian family,” including six aunts who all live in Rhode Island.
From there, McGraw is introduced at her home in Cranston. She’s first introduced with her cat as they walk along the pier to her husband, Gerry, who is in the process of cleaning cat poop. She then revealed in a confessional that they are actually related “somewhere down the line.”

GettyAfter seeing the RHORI clip, many Bravo fans took to the comments section to react. First, one person wrote, “Bravo, I just woke up, and you bless us like this!” Someone else said, “Wait, I’m obsessed with her aunties lol.”
After that, another fan said, “Okay… I’m gonna watch now because… I love Britney Spears too.” Lastly, someone else expressed excitement, saying, “This is going to be so friggin good!!!!!! And the clip with Alicia’s aunts…. that’s legit how all our aunties are here in the Ocean State!! Haha!! I love it!!”
Additionally, according to Deadline, Andy Cohen teased RHORI while at South by Southwest. He said that the show “is giving me everything that I love in Housewives.”
He continued, “The women are all stars. They’re so funny. They are the drama. You know, we were talking about Rhode Island backstage. It’s our smallest state, and they all seem to know each other, or be related, or went to high school together, or all of the above.
They’re all in each other’s lives, and it’s super dramatic. It’s also serving as a destination, in the way that Housewives should, in that I really want to go to Rhode Island in the summer, and it’s the Ocean State. It’s beautiful. We shot it in the summer. It’s all water, and it’s just great.”
