Todd Tucker’s Post About ‘Starting New Relationship’ Takes an Unexpected Direction

“Not sure who needs to hear this,” Todd Tucker captioned a Sunday, March 29 social media video before declaring, “It’s ok to start a new relationship.” At first glance, it seemed the former “Real Housewives” of Atlanta star whose divorce from Kandi Burruss was recently finalized with him receiving a lump sum of $426,000, was referencing romance. But his comments soon revealed he was actually talking about a different kind of relationship.

The 52-year-old told his followers in the clip, “So, I testify today that I said when I got divorced, I was gonna go to church.” He then admitted he hasn’t been to church in “I don’t know how long,” before going on, “Pastor Bronner said something months ago that kinda caught me and I reposted it. So I said, ‘If I’m gonna go to church, I’m gonna go to his church.”

Todd said he realized he doesn’t know much about “the faith,” and then referenced the neighborhood where he formerly resided with Kandi, saying the Bronner family lives there too.

The native New Yorker concluded, “So I’m gonna go to church today. Hey man, one relationship ends. It’s somewhere I can start a new one.”

Fans Are Supporting Todd’s New Church Journey

Todd’s Instagram followers are supporting on his return to church. One told him “you don’t have to be perfect to go to church” before adding, “The Lord said come as you are.”

Another wrote him a long encouraging paragraph that read, “This is the best decision you could have made Todd. Sometimes God allows things to happen to draw you closer to him. May today be the first day of the best relationship of your life…the one with God. He’s going to change you and make you more like him and cause you to submit yourself to his will and his ways. Your desires will begin to change. The people you hang with might change. Get ready for God to blow your mind!”

Todd Hyped Kandi’s Upcoming Appearance

The week of March 23, Todd hyped Kandi’s sold out upcoming performance at City Winery in Atlanta with a playful message. In response to her “I Do. I Did. I’m Done” poster, Todd joked that his ex is not “done with anything” before tacking on “lol just kidding!” He then told everyone, “Go support your girl Kandi!”

While one fan reacted by encouraging the exes to “remain friends and wish each other well,” other “RHOA” followers can’t seem to let go of Kandi and Todd’s relationship. One begged the pair to work things out, insisting there’s nothing in “these single streets” but “headaches.”

Another insisted, “It’s giving family vibes. You two belong together.”
