Choir’s Lasting Legacy

NSO, short for Northants Sings Out, appeared on the 2024 season of “Britain’s Got Talent,” performing on the ITV stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.

Following their performance of Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You,” Cowell offered high praise, calling it “absolutely spot on.”

He added, “I’m gonna praise you – that’s what I wanna do. It was again the best performance you’ve done since we first saw you at the auditions.”

The choir’s music director, Gareth Fuller, later reflected on the experience, describing it as a defining moment for the group.

“When we got on the stage, it was electric. We had an amazing time… we wanted to show people what we do… show what it would be like to come to one of our shows… we want to change the perception of what community choirs are.”

As tributes continue to pour in, Cuney and Pierre are being remembered not only for their musical talent but also for the warmth, generosity, and strong sense of community they brought to those around them.
