“The Bold and the Beautiful” is already looking better than ever, thanks to upcoming twists and turns in 2026.
Speaking with TV Insider, the show’s executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, teased what’s ahead, promising an even more eventful year.
The Rivalry Continues
CBSThe fashion drama between the Spencers and Forresters continues to intensify. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for 2026 confirm that a long-awaited rivalry between two fashion empires is finally happening.
“We’re really fortifying our families. We’re going to have some fashion drama,” Bell added. “The new fashion house is well underway, and it’s very exciting to be back in a rivalry, which we did for so long with Forrester and Spectra and other ones along the way.”
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) relationship takes a major blow, and it’s likely to get worse as the Logan fashion house officially launches.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is also shifting his focus to the family even more, determined to become a better version of himself.
“So, it’s great to have the Spencers united as a force, and Ridge [Forrester, Thorsten Kaye] and Brooke united and pitting those two companies, those two families, against one another,” Bell added. “This should be a great, fresh new rivalry, and everyone’s going to be wrapped up in it.”
Wedding Bells are Ringing on ‘The Bold & the Beautiful’
Bell also teased a major development in Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne Rose’s (Murielle Hilaire) storyline. The Forrester Creations COO finally realizes that he loves the perfumer and wants to take things to the next level.
“They’re going to get married and want to start a family right away. That’s their path,” Bell revealed. “They’ll also be involved in other stories, some interesting, unforeseen plots that are unfolding. We’re going to see a completely different side to Daphne.”
The Younger Generation
Perhaps the highlight of “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2026 is the younger generation characters.
“It’s exciting,” Bell told TV Insider. “We have a new group of young characters being featured. We’ve signed Sydney Bullock as Miss Dylan and Brayan Nicoletti playing R.J. Forrester. We’re at a great time in the show where you have that next generation to play with their core family members.”
Another interesting storyline underway is yet another Spencer/Forrester rivalry, this time, between Will and RJ.
“Years ago, when R.J. and Will were born, we thought, ‘Well, we’re never going to be around to see these guys acting as adults against one another,’ and here we are,” Bell added.
Steffy Forrester & Eric Forrester
CBSMeanwhile, the aftermath of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) forced retirement takes center stage this year on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Bell teased that Eric is going to rebel and prove Ridge wrong once and for all.
“He feels like best intentions be damned. He’s the founder of that company [Forrester],” Bell told the outlet. “He always felt that he would have a place there until the end, and then to have Ridge wanting to take over, even though he’s been working beside him all these years, it upsets him. Eric is going to find a new avenue to channel his passion, which is design.”
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is also set to face challenges involving her mom, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers hint that she discovers Taylor’s growing feelings for Deacon Sharpe (Seanan Kanan) and steps in with a serious warning.
“Steffy, who has feared for her life and her family’s life because of Sheila, does not want her mother involved with Sheila’s husband,” Bell teased. “It’s a hard no. Steffy is really determined to protect her family and not allow Taylor to go down this path at all.”
Deke Sharpe & Hope Logan
As for Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Bell teased that they will face even more family drama ahead.
“Deke doesn’t care for Sheila at all, along with Hope, and that’s a big part of their story, trying to get their dad to leave Sheila,” Bell added. “And Steffy’s trying to get Taylor not to get involved, so it’s a family can of worms. Deke also has aspirations to design. He’s going to run into some roadblocks along the way.”
Taylor Hayes, Deacon Sharpe, & Sheila Carter
Meanwhile, Bell revealed that the Taylor/Ridge/Brooke love triangle has finally been put to rest, with Ridge and Brooke as the endgame.
“Taylor has always been second place with Ridge for most of her life, so I wanted her to find a man who totally appreciates her for the knockout that she is, and it happens with Deacon,” Bell added. “He’s married to someone who has a very checkered past, and although he believes in Sheila’s renaissance, other people, not so much.”
“The Bold and the Beautiful” preview teases that Deacon “grows so fond of Taylor that he doesn’t want to put [her] in harm’s way.”
“Right now, Sheila thinks Taylor really saved their marriage, and in a way she has, so she’s grateful to Taylor, but little does she know that these psychiatric sessions have a little heat in them,” Bell told TV Insider. “And when she finds out, watch out.”
