“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for the week tease a major shocker that leaves Dylan (Sydney Bullock) screaming in fear.
In the preview, Dylan is hard at work at Forrester Creations when she hears a suspicious noise. Moments later, someone suddenly emerges from behind a wardrobe rack, giving her the scare of her life.
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Shocker: Is Luna Alive?
Given Dylan’s strong reaction, it’s safe to assume she’s come face-to-face with someone she never expected to see. Soaps.com suggested that the person behind the rack is none other than the supposedly deceased Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
“The Bold and the Beautiful” fans know that the lunatic was declared dead after Dylan accidentally ran her over while trying to escape the authorities.
Even Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin) assured everyone that Luna passed away, putting an end to her reign of terror.
But in true soap fashion, even a supposedly dead character can come back to life—and Luna would be no exception. In the past, Sheila Carter’s (played by Kimberlin Brown) homicidal granddaughter was presumed dead after a shootout at the beach house, where she held Dylan captive.
Settling Unfinished Business
“The Bold and the Beautiful” viewers never saw Luna’s body or her funeral. And while executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell has assured fans that Luna is truly dead, he’s made similar claims in the past that ultimately proved untrue.
After all, Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Sheila have both been presumed dead before—only to resurface very much alive.
Dylan getting a mysterious call about “unfinished business” seems to hint at a major twist ahead. Who else would have a bone to pick with her other than Luna? Unless, of course, the former art teacher has a sketchy past that’s finally starting to catch up with her.
Lisa Yamada Reacts to Possible ‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Return
Meanwhile, Yamada attended the BBTV launch party alongside “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members. Speaking with Michael Fairman TV, the award-winning actress said she believes Luna is dead, at least for now.
“Right now, I believe that she’s dead. But that’s to say that stranger things have happened on this show,” the actress added.
Yamada also admitted that she’s always open to coming back to the show. “The phone is always open for Brad. If he ever wants to call me back, I’m here,” she continued.
The actress reflected back on Luna’s final scene, which she finds very “technical” and “funny” at the same time.
“It was funny in the beginning and then it got to the point where I was like, ‘Okay, we have to time this out perfectly,'” Yamada recalled. “But I did laugh watching it. It was great.”
For now, Yamada is looking forward to the premiere of her new TV series, “Elle,” on July 1.
“I actually play this rich snotty little Bel Air girl. So, that’s been really fun because it’s so opposite from Luna,” Yamada explained.
