“General Hospital” star Josh Swickard kicked off 2026 with a bang!
The actor, who portrays Detective Harrison Chase on the long-running ABC soap, is expecting his third child with his wife, Lauren Swickard.
In a joint Instagram post shared on January 4, Josh and Lauren confirmed the happy news with a sweet video of their growing family.
“Exciting New Year’s update from the Swickard fam . @joshswickard just a couple more months…” Lauren captioned the post.
The video began with footage of the couple and their two children, Savannah and Arthur, enjoying quality time on the farm outside of their Los Angeles home. “The Swickard farm is… GROWING!!!”
Another clip showed the soon-to-be mom of three cradling her baby bump as a horse playfully licked her dress. The video ended with adorable family photos.
A Closer Look at Josh & Lauren Swickard’s Love Story
Josh first met Lauren when she played his love interest in the 2019 film “Roped.” The two also starred together in the Netflix hit “A California Christmas” and “A California Christmas: City Lights.”
In 2013, Lauren landed her short-term role as nurse Janice on “General Hospital.” Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Josh revealed what it’s like working with his wife on the soap.
“I was more nervous than Lauren was, just because I know what a weird beast it is [to shoot a soap opera],” the actor told the outlet at the time. “Most of her work lately has been feature film stuff, which is just a completely different flow. But I was blown away by how calm and composed she was.”

Josh and Lauren tied the knot on July 6, 2019, in a stunning outdoor ceremony at Hyde Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“We wanted the day to reflect our lifestyles and personalities, so ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ was a perfect choice!” Lauren told Over The Moon at the time.
