“The Young and the Restless” legend Eric Braeden had some sweet words for fans on Valentine’s Day. Braeden, who has played Victor Newman on the CBS soap for over four decades, knows all too well that the fans make the show, so he used Valentine’s Day to show his appreciation for them.

In a video posted to the official Instagram account for “The Young and the Restless,” Braeden issues a sweet message for fans from the set of the show.
“This is to all the fans of Y&R who keep us on the air. In my case, my goodness, 46 years now. Whoa! That’s because of all of you who make the ratings that we are still here, and I get to do what I love doing,” he expressed.
Braeden went to make sure fans know that their devotion to the CBS soap doesn’t go unnoticed.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you. We don’t take you for granted, okay? It would be stupid if we did. I love a lot of your fan mail and the things I get on the telephone. You know, I really appreciate that more than you realize. So, Happy Valentine’s Day,” the soap star ended his sweet message.
