Wedding bells are ringing for “The Young and the Restless” star Cait Fairbanks and her musician boyfriend, Jay Rudolph.
The actress, who plays Tessa Porter in the hit CBS soap, confirmed the happy news on Instagram. Fairbanks shared a photo of her stunning engagement ring, which Rudolph reshared with the caption, “She said ‘Yes.'”
Another image showed the couple beaming with joy, with a beautiful landscape behind them.
Fairbanks has largely stayed private about her dating life, rarely posting about her beau on social media. In 2022, the actress confirmed their romance, sharing a compilation of photos with the caption, “swoon alert.”
Rudolph and Fairbanks have been dating for almost five years now.

Fairbanks and Rudolph’s mutual love for music is one of the things that connects them. Rudolph is a drummer who has toured with Weyes Blood. He also contributed to Marlon Rabenreither’s song “Wild Boys.”
Meanwhile, Fairbanks has already released multiple songs and is actively recording new music, per Soap Opera Digest.
“I’ve been in the studio for a while and my boyfriend [musician Jay Rudolph] and I have been working on the record,” the actress told the outlet in November.
Fairbanks, who goes by the stage name Ginesse, revealed that the new album is almost ready to be released just in time for the holidays.
“I’m wrapping that up,” she added. “Shooting some album artwork, and I’d like it to be out sometime in early December, because my parents will be out here [in Los Angeles], and I could do a show or something. I’m not sure when I’m doing a show yet, but I was thinking about early December as kind of what I’m aiming for right now.”

In November, Fairbanks’ on-screen spouse, Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) married voice actor Brock Powell after three years of engagement. The couple’s “funky wedding” featured a local pianist, street parade, and tarot card reader.
“Travel is very important to both of us,” the couple told PEOPLE. “We wanted our friends and family to feel like they’re on an adventure with us — a few days to explore a new place, eat some incredible food, and take in everything New Orleans has to offer. And at the end, throw an incredible party and thank them for their support and love!”
