In an episode of the “I Do, Part 2” podcast, Hebert reflects on that period of her life, describing the emotional strain she experienced. She shared how their marriage impacted her well-being.
“I felt, you know how women, they hold in a lot of stress, and it leads to autoimmune diseases,” she said. “I’m like, this marriage is going to kill me. Like, it’s going to kill me.”
Hebert emphasized that her remark was not a slight to her ex-husband and that her decision to leave was rooted in prioritizing her health. “I made the decision because I care about myself and my health a lot, and especially for the kids, my longevity and to be there for my kids,” she added.
Choosing Health & Happiness Moving Forward
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, Hebert made it clear that she and Rosenbaum remain on good terms. “Even though we’re not in love, we still have a great relationship,” noting their shared focus on raising their children.
She added that they’ve built a positive co-parenting dynamic, saying they’ve created “two amazing human beings” and continue to live a “very happy, fruitful life.”
