It has certainly been a whirlwind journey for Owens. He began his road to finding love again with 23 remarkable ladies, and has now narrowed it down to Cindy Cullers, 60, and Peg Munson, 62. Both women have questioned his level of commitment, as Owens has not been keen to express his true emotions on camera. It will be interesting to see how Owens will approach his finale and whether viewers will see him get down on one knee when the episode airs.

‘The Golden Bachelor’ Final Moments Leading up to the Finale
ABCOn the Nov. 5 episode of “The Golden Bachelor,” viewers followed Owens to paradise as he and his two finalists touched down in Antigua. It was the last chance to see if sparks were flying and whether a proposal could be on the horizon.
The episode was also Fantasy Suite Week, as Owens could invite both women to his room for private, overnight stays. After a wonderful date with Peg, she chose to spend the night. Speaking to the cameras, the retired firefighter from Las Vegas shared that being with him gave her much-needed clarity about his true feelings, adding he had “let his guard down.”
ABC“Having that conversation unfiltered, I feel like we understand each other better now. All of my concerns definitely got answered last night,” Peg said.
However, his final one-on-one date with Cindy left on a cliffhanger. Although the two seemed to have a fantastic connection, the retired biomedical engineer from Austin did not get the reassurance she was hoping for about their relationship. “Mel is a reserved man … but it’s not the time to seize up,” she shares.
In a sneak peek for the finale, shown during “The Women Tell All” episode, which aired on Oct. 29, Owens is seen getting advice from his sons, and both women express they can see a future with him.
In the clip, Owens is seen holding a beautiful engagement ring, and later, appears to be sitting alone as fireworks light up the sky behind him, leaving fans wondering what might have happened between him and Cindy.
With Owens being so open about not rushing into love, will he end up proposing to either Cindy or Peg in the finale?
