When Guy Gansert appeared on Joan Vassos‘ season of “The Golden Bachelorette,” he ended up as the runner-up. In the time since, the former ER doctor has found love offscreen with girlfriend Johanna Boston. Or should we say fiancée. Indeed, the couple have just revealed that they’re engaged.
In a slideshow shared on Instagram on Friday, November 7, you can see the couple enjoying a trip to New York City. In the black and white photos, the couple smiles at the camera seemingly having a great time. Then, while on top of the Empire State Building, Johanna shows off a brand new engagement ring.
“The couple even shared a close-up of the rock, which appeared to be an oval-shaped stone set on a pave band,” according to People.
In the caption of the post Guy wrote, “@johannabostonny I guess “🎼The the Lord must be in New York City” 🍎💍”
Guy’s Followers Are Certainly Excited for Him & Johanna
When Guy shared the news of his engagement to Johanna, his followers were quick to take to the comments to offer up their well-wishes.

Guy & Johanna Are Making Memories
If you follow Guy on social media, then Johanna will be no stranger to you. That’s because Guy often posts about his lady love. Beyond that, the two seem to be busy making memories together that they like to share on Instagram.
For instance, in May, Guy hopped on Instagram to share a photo of the couple enjoying a workout together and being somewhat silly at the same time. In the caption, he wrote, “Johanna and I actually have the same birthday. We spent several days in Palm Desert lying by the pool, working out, hitting golf balls, have wonderful dinners and mostly laughing together 😂. What a fantastic way of celebrating ‘Cinco de Guyo/JoJo.'”
