In a Hollywood plot twist few saw coming, Lorenzo Lamas has opened up to Fox News Digital in an exclusive new interview, and the “Falcon Crest” heartthrob has officially confirmed what many fans have been buzzing about all month: he is head-over-heels for none other than fellow ’80s and ’90s television royalty, actress Heather Locklear.
The 68-year-old actor, whose chat with Fox News was published April 29, didn’t hold back when describing his feelings for the 64-year-old “Melrose Place” icon. “I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met,” he said.
Lamas and Locklear first met back in 1983, when the two young TV titans posed together for the cover of Playgirl magazine. She was riding high on “Dynasty,” while he was the brooding heir to the “Falcon Crest’s” winery. The now-iconic shoot featured Heather in red swimwear and Lorenzo in a Speedo.
Forty-three years later, the two have reunited and reconnected in what looks to be a fairly significant way.

So how did the new coupled reconnect? According to TMZ, the pair quietly reconnected at a New York City dinner party last November of 2025 before celebrating New Year’s Eve together at Barry’s Steakhouse in Las Vegas.
Lamas’s rep confirmed the romance to Us Weekly on April 10, and days later, the smitten star posted the throwback from that legendary 1983 photoshoot.
Adding to the charm of it all, TMZ reported that Heather recently met Lorenzo’s kids and grandchildren over a lunch-and-movie hangout, also noting that everyone involved “had a blast.”
The couple made their official debut at the Chiller Theatre Expo in Parsippany, New Jersey, the weekend of April 25 — and they did not come to play. Both rocking sleek black ensembles, the duo posed as Heather leaned into Lorenzo’s chest and wrapped her arms around his waist, looking like they had stepped straight out of a glossy ’80s magazine spread.

“With Jesus Christ in your life, you can accomplish anything,” he said, per Fox News. “There’s no problem or event or anything that can compare to the strength that you feel when you know you’re following Christ… even in the darkest of times, we always have the Lord to lean on.”
For Heather, this new romance comes after splitting from longtime fiancé Chris Heisser in 2025. The “T.J. Hooker” alum, previously married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, also had a lengthy romance with former “Melrose” co-star Jack Wagner.
Now, 43 years, two iconic careers and one very memorable Speedo later, Lamas and Locklear are delivering the rare Hollywood reunion that may actually live up to the hype — and fans clearly cannot get enough.
