6 ‘The Bachelor’ Contestants Who Were Kicked Off Too Soon

Every season of “The Bachelor” features heartbreak, dramatic rose ceremonies, and at least a few eliminations that leave viewers stunned. We all know that not every contestant is going to end up with a proposal, but then we see some women who clearly had more to give. However, they were sent home before their relationships had time to develop. We take a look at six of these women who were kicked off “The Bachelor” too soon.

1. Britt Nilsson (Chris Soules’ Season)

Britt Nilsson formed one of the strongest early connections with Chris Soules, making her mid-season elimination especially shocking. Their goodbye felt emotional and unfinished. Chris was very conflicted with sending her home.

Tensions in the house and questions about Britt’s intentions on the show all worked against her. However, fans believe she was one of the few women who genuinely understood Chris.

2. Sarah Herron (Sean Lowe’s Season)

Sarah Herron’s elimination has to be one of the most emotional moments in “The Bachelor” history. Herron bravely opened up to Sean Lowe about her disability. After that, it seemed like Sean and Sarah had a sincere, respectful bond that resonated deeply with viewers.

However, Sean sent Sarah home right before hometown dates. Fans were devastated by the elimination. It seems like Lowe was struggling with it too, as he said it was one of the hardest decisions he’s ever made. This left many fans thinking Herron was eliminated far too soon.

3. Jubilee Sharpe (Ben Higgins’ Season)

Jubilee Sharpe had intelligence, a dry humor, and a military background. These were all things that made her stand out during Ben Higgins’ season.

Jubilee and Ben had some meaningful one-on-one time, but she struggled to open up in the chaotic group setting.

It felt like Jubilee’s elimination came fast. She was sent home during week 5, and many fans believe she never received the patience or understanding she deserved.

4. Alayah Benavidez (Peter Weber’s Season)

Alayah Benavidez’s elimination was messy, controversial, and widely criticized. The other contestants labeled Alayah as “fake.” This led Peter Weber to eliminate her, only to reverse course and bring her back.

However, the damage was already done. Alayah was quickly sent home again. Many Bachelor fans believe she was unfairly targeted and never really got a chance to show her real connection with Peter.

5. Sharleen Joynt (Juan Pablo Galavis’ Season)

Sharleen Joynt wasn’t kicked off “The Bachelor,” but instead she self-eliminated on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season. This moment remains one of the most debated moments in the show’s history.

Joynt was an accomplished opera singer who had poise and emotional intelligence. She stood out immediately as someone operating on a different wavelength than most contestants.

Her connection with Juan Pablo felt genuine. However, after a one-on-one date with Juan Pablo, she went to his hotel room the following day and said she was having doubts about her feelings and discomfort with the process. Because of that, she was eliminating herself from the competition, leaving fans shocked.

6. Bri Springs (Matt James’ Season)

Bri Springs was a serious frontrunner on Matt James’ season. She quit her job to fully commit to the process. She even had amazing chemistry with Matt.

This made her elimination after the fantasy suite dates even more surprising. She has a calm confidence and an emotional maturity that made her a strong match with Matt. However, he sent her home, and her exit remains one of the most questioned decisions of the season.

On “The Bachelor,” strong connections don’t always guarantee a rose. Which “The Bachelor” contestants do you think were sent home too soon?
