5 ‘The Bachelorette’ Contestants Who Were Eliminated Too Soon

Every season of “The Bachelorette” gives us its fair share of shocking eliminations. However, some exits sting more than others. Whether it was a fan favorite being sent home during a group date or a genuine connection cut short by bad timing, these contestants on “The Bachelorette” left viewers yelling at their TVs. We came up with a list of five “The Bachelorette” contestants from over the years that were eliminated too soon, and fans are still talking about it.

1. Peter Kraus (Rachel Lindsay’s Season)

There aren’t too many eliminations in “The Bachelorette” history that cause as much of an uproar as Peter Kraus’ exit during Rachel Lindsay’s season. They had a chemistry that all of Bachelor Nation could see.

However, differing views on engagement ultimately sent Peter home before the final rose. Many fans thought Peter was Rachel’s strongest emotional connection, which made his elimination one of the most heartbreaking in the show’s history.

2. Mike Johnson (Hannah Brown’s Season)

Mike Johnson quickly became a fan favorite during Hannah Brown’s season. He had charisma, emotional intelligence, and genuine intentions.

However, his elimination felt abrupt. It felt like there was a strong connection not only with Hannah, but with the audience, too. Fans not only thought he was eliminated too soon, but that he also deserved to be the next Bachelor.

3. Brooks Forester (Desiree Hartsock’s Season)

This has to be one of the most emotional moments in the show’s history. Brooks Forester was a frontrunner on Desiree Hartsock’s season.

After making it to the Top 3, Brooks realized she wasn’t “the love of my life,” so he self-eliminated. Desiree was visibly devastated, and fans thought the season was over.

While fans thought he left too soon, especially with how Desiree felt about him, it all worked out in the end. Desiree chose Chris Siegfried as the winner, and they are still married today with three kids.

4. Ben Zorn (Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Season)

Ben Zorn made a strong impression early on during Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. He was a standout for his honesty and emotional openness.

However, Kaitlyn sent him home during week 6, which viewers did feel that his connection with Kaitlyn had fully played out. Sure, it wasn’t as dramatic as others. However, his early exit had some fans wishing they’d seen more of him.

5. Spencer Robertson (Tayshia Adams’ Season)

Spencer Robertson was part of a season 16 twist on “The Bachelorette.” He and three other men entered the house later in the competition during Tayshia Adams’ season.

Robertson immediately turned heads, including Tayshia’s. They definitely had an initial spark, but Spencer was eliminated a few short weeks later.

Fans felt they wanted to see more of where the relationship might have gone with some more time.

Sometimes, the contestants who exit too soon are the ones viewers remember the longest. Which “The Bachelorette” contestants do you think were eliminated too soon?
