The Crane was the first Wild Card on “The Masked Singer” season 14. Even though she has only performed one time on “The Masked Singer” so far, fans are convinced it is “Fifth Harmony” member Normani. So, music fans want to know, is Normani the Crane on “The Masked Singer”?
Crane first appeared on the show during week 3. The judges were all over the place with their guesses. However, fans have said they’re convinced that it’s “Dancing With the Stars” finalist Normani.
‘The Masked Singer’ Panelists’ Guesses
After her first performance and clues, Robin Thicke said this is the best dancer we have this season. Then we see the ballet shoes. Someone they’ve said before, but have never had on the show is Misty Copeland. He said other names came to mind, too. Robin wrote some songs on her debut album, and is reminded of her by the way she stands, but Maya.
Jenny McCarthy said she was getting Ashanti vibes because she’s got a song called “Diamonds,” and we saw the diamond clue. We saw the sugar jar, and she has a song called “Sugar Shack.” She has a Christmas album to tie in with the Nutcracker.
Robin said the diamond could be a song going diamond, which “Lady Marmalade” did for Maya.
Why Are Fans So Sure Normani is the Crane?
While none of the judges guessed her, many fans on social media are convinced this is Normani. One fan wrote, “Normani I hear that southern accent coming out girl 😂,” while another added, “As an OG harmonizer, i confirm this is Normani my queen. Everything adds up,” and a third said, “That last run 😍😍 that’s my good sis normani.”
This fan analyzed all the clues, and it all seems to make perfect sense: “The clues line up with Normani. The sugar references when she was the opener on Ariana Grande’s “Sweetener” Tour. The Diamond references her song “Diamonds” with Megan Thee Stallion. Normani is definitely obsessed with the ’90’S. And in this clip, the Crane was ‘working from home.’”
I mean, do we have to look at more past that? Another fan wrote, “You ain’t fooling no one, Normani!,” while this person added, “Normani if you dont get on a real mf stage and stop playing with us,” and one final person wrote, “I don’t need the clues. The voice says Normani.”
