Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp, 44, stunned millions of fans when she de-masked herself on season 14 of “The Masked Singer.”
Mellencamp, who was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer in February 2025, has been secretly performing as Calla Lilly on the hit FOX competition show. During the Red, White & Blue patriotic-themed episode on Feb. 4, she was voted off, leaving her to reveal her identity on stage after performing her dad John Mellencamp’s song “Jack & Diane.”

Her appearance on “The Masked Singer” comes exactly one year after she was given her progressed cancer diagnosis, making her grit and stage presence even more impressive.
In a video on Instagram of her taking her mask off, Mellencamp was greeted with a roaring cheer from the audience.
Fans from home poured their support into the comments, expressing how moving Mellencamp’s strength is.
“Great song choices! Sending you all the love, Teddi! You are beyond inspiring,” wrote one fan.
“OMG Teddi this is AMAZING! You’re really an inspiration to me and so so many others!” said another.

Teddi Mellencamp Has an Army of Support Amid Cancer Battle
Mellencamp’s younger sister, Justice Mellencamp, also reposted the video to her Instagram Story of the Bravo alum revealing her identity, writing a heartfelt message about how she performed beyond measure while battling through any weakness.
“When you told me you were doing the @maskedsingerfox, you may not have known how many episodes you were on or how many songs you sang, but I’m beyond proud of your bravery and strength to do this while continuing to kick cancers [expletive]!!!” Justice wrote.
“RHOBH” star and best friend of Mellencamp, Kyle Richards, also wrote a sweet message, emphasizing how incredible it was for her to take on such a busy-scheduled role as she continues her treatment outside of the hospital.
“I can’t believe you were able to do this with everything you are going through! Proud of you Ted,” Richards wrote.
Mellencamp first revealed on her Instagram in February 2025 that doctors found multiple tumors, which they believed had been growing for at least 6 months.
The mom of two was initially diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in 2022, but when she experienced persistent headaches, she underwent a CT scan and MRI, where her tumors were discovered, People reports. Despite her strength, will to live and ongoing care for her health, Mellencamp’s cancer spread to her lungs and brain. Nonetheless, her ability to persevere through it all remains a remarkable inspiration.
