Weeks after being adopted by Snoop Dogg and his family, an adorable Frenchie puppy named Baby Boy Broadus accompanied his rapper dad to the set of “The Voice” for the season 28 Blind Auditions. The little guy made his TV debut during the first two episodes of the season on September 22 and 23, 2025.
Snoop introduced the pup on social media in late June, and he’s already attracted a large following, including over 137,000 followers on the Baby Boy Broadus Instagram page.
Snoop Dogg Says His New Pup is ‘Part of the Coaching Staff’ on ‘The Voice’
Baby Boy Broadus has been seen in segments filmed backstage during “The Voice” Blind Auditions, curled up in his own director’s chair next to his famous dad as he talks about the contestants.
In an Instagram video shared by “The Voice” on September 17, Snoop showed off his prized pet, sharing, “This is my little homeboy right here, Baby Boy Broadus, newest member of my family, part of the coaching staff. If he like you, you make the team. If he sniff you and you ain’t right, you out.”
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., is already happily spoiling BabyBoy Broadus. His social media pics have shown the pup enjoying the high life, including going for a walk on his $600 Louis Vuitton brown leather leash. There’s also a video of the lil’ guy in Snoop’s lap, chewing on the rap mogul’s Death Row Record’s jacket as the rapper just smirks at the camera.
Thousands of fans swooned over BabyBoy Broadus as soon as he introduced him on social media, including one who wrote, “So handsome little puppyyyy glad you got a new friend these dogs are the best 🔥❤️”
Snoop Dogg Got His New Pup After Losing His Beloved Dog in Early June
Snoop and his wife, Shante Broadus, have had numerous French bulldogs, also known as Frenchies. They are among the most popular dog breeds in the U.S, with a life expectancy of 10 to 12 years, according to the American Kennel Club.
They lost their dog Juelz in early June, Snoop shared via social media. Also a Frenchie, Juelz was a gift from fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa in 2014, per TMZ. He had his own Instagram account, too.
On June 12, Snoop posted a since-deleted video of himself, driving with Juelz in the passenger seat of his car, and wrote, “Rip @juelzbroadus 😢 thank wiz for giving him to me 🌹 🕊️.”
