“90 Day Fiance” star Jasmine Pineda is making headlines once again, this time, over her claims that her daughter, Matilda, has become a target of online bullying.
On Monday, September 22, the Panama native turned to Instagram Stories, revealing that there are people who are trying to sabotage her baby, who is currently competing in an online baby contest.
“Today, [I] learned that a group of people [is] organizing to make Matilda be disqualified/ lose the competition she is nominated [for],” Jasmine wrote. “I can’t even put into words how much I’ve cried. It’s devastating to know that there are people actually organizing against my innocent baby. Matilda is nothing but love, light, and joy.”
Jasmine later posted a video from inside her car, breaking down in tears as she opened up to her followers.
“I’m so sorry, guys, to come on like this,” the TLC star cried. “You know I have very thick skin when it comes to me. You know that people are not the nicest to me on social media, everywhere, and I’m okay with it. But when it comes to Matilda, it just breaks my heart because she’s the sweetest kid, so angelic. She’s not doing anything to anyone, but people have to be like this.”

Jasmine’s daughter, Matilda, joins the competition called “Baby of the Year.” The said contest currently has 48 adorable babies competing for the title.
Celebrities like Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, and Kelly Rowland support the competition. According to its page, the winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize and will appear in a Variety advertorial.
As of this writing, Matilda ranks 1st in their group. In her About Me section, she is described as a “little beam of sunshine.”
As for what they would do with the cash prize, the “90 Day Fiance” star wrote that they will use it for her essential needs and “little opportunities for her growth and joy.”
Fans React to Jasmine’s Emotional Post
Meanwhile, “90 Day Fiance” fans were quick to express their opinion about Jasmine’s latest emotional post. Some took to Reddit and assumed that she’s suffering from postpartum depression.
One fan wrote, “She might have postpartum depression. It seems like she’s being an emotional wreck after having Matilda.”
Another commented, “Makes sense with her being postpartum. Not enough of these people (reality show types) seek legitimate therapy. She needs help for real.”
Someone added, “PPD and social media is a terrible combination. I hope she has someone who can help guide her through it.”
Others accused Jasmine of exploiting her young child.
One wrote, “I haven’t seen anybody bullying her baby either. She exploits the baby then acts shocked not all the attention isn’t positive. She should be protecting her baby, not broadcasting her everywhere.”
Another chimed in, “Maybe she should just stop putting her on social media and stop talking about her.”
