“Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen and “Summer House” star Carl Radke’s potential romance has quickly become the Bravo crossover everyone can’t stop talking about. After Aspen confirmed she went on a date with the Soft Bar owner in December 2025, fans have been eager for an update on where the pair stands today.
On Jan. 14, Aspen appeared as a guest on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” where she opened up about her status with Radke, admitting that the pair have officially been on a few more dates.
Ventia Aspen Gives a Much-Needed Update on Her Romance With Carl Radke
GettyBravo fans were thrilled to see “Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen appear on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” knowing the host wouldn’t miss the chance to ask the burning question: whether her relationship with “Summer House” star Carl Radke had progressed since their first date in December.
“You know, we’re taking it one day at a time, going out on dates, trying to get to know each other better,” she gushed.
When Cohen asked Aspen whether she planned to see Radke since she was in town, she explained that she was “in and out” during this trip and, unfortunately, wouldn’t find time to see him. Still, Aspen continued to share nothing but kind things about Radke.
When “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams, who was also a guest on WWHL, asked whether it was a “situationship,” Aspen quickly shut it down, saying, “I’m not that type of girl.” Williams then joked, “Oh, a relationship?” prompting Aspen to add, “I’m trying to see if it could be there.”
Aspen further shared nothing but kind words about the Soft Bar owner. “He’s very intentional, he’s a really hard worker. You know, it’s very attractive. Very kind, he’s tall, has a great smile,” she shared.
Aspen Described Her Hours-Long Date With Radke
GettyIn December 2025, Aspen appeared on an episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, where she detailed her outing with Radke in New York City.
“We have now gone on one date, which is very nice,” she shared, adding, “We went to Soft Bar, of course, first, and I got to see that whole experience. Then we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant around the corner.”
Aspen went on to share that the two had such a good time that they “shut the place down” and even “had to be asked to leave.” She continued, “Carl’s cute. I’m sweating.”
Several of Aspen’s co-stars weighed in on her outing with Radke, sharing their support for their blossoming connection.
“There’s a little love connection potentially flourishing here between Carl and Venita. And I was talking to Carl earlier, and I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t think Venita is a ‘Wham, bam, thank you ma’am. You’re gonna have to wine and dine her.’ And he was like, ‘That is right up my alley.'” Austen Kroll shared at BravoCon 2025.
Meanwhile, Molly O’Connell admitted that she’s been “shipping” their relationship, adding, “I love it,” while appearing on WWHL in December.

Venita, well she thinks she’s better than everyone on the show. She’s had so many arguments with her so called girlfriends. But the nerve she had with Sally telling her to choose me or Craig. What friend would say such a horrible thing like that to a good girlfriend. Yes give your opinion if you thought he was a player, but to say choose its me or Craig. Is ridiculous!!! I never liked her from day one when she picked on Katherine. And then had a argument with with another of her so called best friends Madison. And what the hell did Craig ever do to her??? Who the hell does she think she is. We the fans were so glad when Sally picked Craig over her. And then at Madison’s girls sleep over she had the damn nerve to say to Sally ha I told you so. Like im glad he dumped you. And yes Sally again thought for herself and gave it to her back to her like another words why in the hell is that funny. Venita couldn’t take that Sally put her in her place., and like a spoiled brat she got up and left. Venita is a mean girl who wants to be the main attraction on the show. But she isn’t. She should apologize to Sally if she was or is any kind of a friend to Sally. And Auston is such a jealous green eyed monster when it comes to Craig. He could wait to go back and tell Sally that Craig wasn’t into her like a girlfriend. Please SALLY RUN FROM AUSTIN!!!!! HES GOING TO BE A BACHELOR LIKE SHEP. He is not ready to settled down with anyone. Besides he’s not in a position to financially take care of a wife. We say Sally hang in there with Craig cause we just know once he gets to really know you he will fall head over heals for you. We believe that you two would get married and have beautiful children.
