The Bravoverse can’t stop talking about a potential romance brewing between “Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen and “Summer House” star Carl Radke. Before the year was up, the two shared that they had hung out during BravoCon 2025 and later went out on an hours-long date in New York City.
Of course, Aspen’s co-stars had a lot to say about this possible Bravo love match, including her season 10 best friend, Salley Carson, who called Radke “super sweet.”
Salley Carson Shares Her Take on Venita Aspen & Carl Radke’s Rumored Romance
“Southern Charm” star Salley Carson is giving her honest take on her co-star and best friend, Venita Aspen’s, recent outing with “Summer House” star Carl Radke. After Aspen revealed that she and the Soft Bar founder went on a “five-hour” date in NYC, fans want nothing more than to see these two be the next official Bravo couple.
While speaking on the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast, Carson shared that she gave Aspen and Radke’s possible romance a thumbs up, calling him “super sweet.” She then shared, “I actually think that they would be a good fit for each other.”
She continued, “I’ve met him a few times, and I really like him. She deserves a good guy.”
Aspen Spilled on Her Hours-Long Date With Radke
GettyDuring a conversation on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast on Dec. 23, Aspen detailed her date with Radke, revealing what went down during their hours-long meetup.
“We have now gone on one date, which is very nice,” she shared, adding that they first met at Radke’s Soft Bar located in Brooklyn.
“We went to Soft Bar, of course, first, and I got to see that whole experience. Then we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant around the corner,” she said. Aspen also admitted that they “shut the place down” and even “had to be asked to leave,” hinting that the two had a very good time.
“I think it lasted for almost five hours. We were together the whole day, for about five hours,” she revealed.
Aspen’s ‘Southern Charm’ Co-Stars Also Weighed In
Not only has Carson given her opinion on Aspen’s dating life, but so have her other “Southern Charm” co-stars, who are all in total agreement about seeing Aspen and Radke together.
While appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in December, Molly O’Connell shared, “So I am pretty sure she came to New York a couple weeks ago, and she posted a photo at Soft Bar, so I’m pretty sure they went on maybe another date. I’ve been shipping this. I love it.”
Appearing on BravoCon Live! with Andy Cohen, Austen Kroll also approved of their budding relationship.
“There’s a little love connection potentially flourishing here between Carl and Venita. And I was talking to Carl earlier, and I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t think Venita is a ‘Wham, bam, thank you ma’am. You’re gonna have to wine and dine her.’ And he was like, ‘That is right up my alley.'”
Never. The girls are just trying to give aspen a story line or she’s toast. Aspen just stirs up rumors, puts selfish demands on sally and doesn’t belong on that show anymore. Tell her to go find another BEST FRIEND( which is so teenage behavior. She’s too clingy which means immature.
I agree so middle school is. Why would she say to Sally me or Craig. Real girlfriends can state their opinion but why would any friend would ask a girlfriend to choose between her and a maybe boyfriend. She’s acts like she’s I’m grade school for heavens sake. Get rid of her and fire her. She has absolutely no story line what so ever. She boring abd yes a very mean girl. So I say to her GROWVTHE HELL UP !!! Support your girlfriends and be there for them when they get hurt but to say it’s me or Craig is just middlecschool behavior….fire her….PERIOD
