“Summer House” star Carl Radke is addressing the buzz around his personal life with a candid and upbeat update about his connection with fellow Bravo personality Venita Aspen of “Southern Charm.”
What started as friendly chemistry between the two reality TV favorites has blossomed into something they’re both open to exploring — slowly and intentionally — drawing excitement from fans of both franchises.
Radke, 41, spoke publicly about his time with Aspen while attending a Season 10 celebration event for “Summer House” in New York City, confirming that the two have been spending time together since their first date in mid-November 2025.
“We’ve been talking … we’ve had fun,” he told the crowd, framing the situation with warmth and positivity rather than pressure.
The Two Had Their First Date at Radke’s Bar
Their first outing, which took place at Radke’s Brooklyn non-alcoholic bar Soft Bar, was followed by dinner in the neighborhood, a date that went over smoothly and set the tone for future get-togethers.
Radke described Aspen as “awesome” and “really sweet,” emphasizing that they are simply enjoying getting to know one another.
The pair also spent time together in December 2025 and during a Bravo event in London this month, where Radke said they ran into each other again.
He noted that Aspen’s presence made the experience “nice,” a comment that reflected mutual comfort and ease.
Despite the distance — he’s based in New York City and she resides in Charleston — Radke said they’re taking it one day at a time, leaving room for natural growth rather than rushing anything.
When asked if Radke invited Aspen to London, he responded, “She was invited by Bravo. So we were there with a bunch of other people.”
“Southern Cham” star Austen Kroll was also in attendance with the two.
Aspen Previously Dished About the Potential Romance
Aspen, 32, echoed a similar sentiment during a January episode of “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, where she said they’re “going out on dates” and trying to learn more about each other at a comfortable pace.
She also praised Radke’s thoughtful personality, calling him “very intentional, a very hard worker, and very kind,” and added with a laugh that his great smile didn’t hurt either.
Aspen’s reflections captured the optimistic tone of this budding pairing — one that hasn’t yet been labeled with heavy relationship terms but clearly holds promise as two people enjoy fresh connection.
She stressed that she isn’t looking for a “situationship” and wants to see if something deeper can grow organically.
For his part, Radke has been open about putting himself back out there after parting ways with “Summer House” co-star Lindsay Hubbard in 2023, focusing on healing and confidence before exploring new romantic possibilities.

Not a good match. Carl get out. See her behavior on southern charm. She’s desperate. Her friends all date and have romance. Last guy fled the country. Venita said on reunion day, even tho he had a girlfriend and cheated, she would take him back. She needs camera time.
