Jennifer Lopez is once again leaving fans in awe after showing off her toned physique in a playful new social media video.
All About the Fun Clip
The former “American Idol” judge, 56, took to Instagram on Friday, May 22, to share a campy clip that highlighted her signature dance moves — and her sculpted abs.
In the video, actress Mika Abdalla stood outside an open dance studio and jokingly spoke to the camera using a voice over.
“I don’t know her personally, but I’m pretty sure that’s JLo,” Abdalla quipped before rushing inside.
Once inside the studio, Lopez was seen rehearsing with dancers while wearing a cropped top and lace-up jeans that put her famously toned midsection on full display.
The singer then turned around and delivered a playful surprise.
“OMG, wait, this is me… now!” Lopez exclaimed in a high-pitched voice, referencing “This Is Me… Now,” her ambitious 2024 musical project that included an album, films and a tour.
The fun moment continued as Lopez and Abdalla hugged and jumped up and down together while Lopez’s hit song “On the Floor” played in the background.
Fans React to Her Impressive Apparance
Fans wasted no time flooding the comments section with praise for both the lighthearted clip and Lopez’s seemingly ageless appearance.
Actress Kerry Washington was among those reacting, commenting, “this is incredible 😍”
Others were equally enthusiastic.
“SCREAMING,” one fan wrote.
“So gorgeous!!” another added.
“A MOMENT,” someone else commented.
“This is my Roman Empire actually,” another follower joked.
Many fans also couldn’t stop talking about Lopez’s appearance, with one admirer writing, “You look incredible.”
Lopez has never been shy about discussing the hard work behind her famously fit physique.
Lopez Has Previously Talked About Her Workout Routine
During a previous interview on CBS Mornings, she explained that her fitness routine has evolved over time and now focuses more on efficiency than intensity.
When host Gayle King asked how she maintains her look, Lopez shared that she has learned to train smarter.
“I think I’ve gotten good at working out what I need to work out without killing myself,” she explained. “I think when I was younger, I was like doing all the things and like, working so hard. And now, I work smarter, not harder. You know?”
The singer also said weight training has become increasingly important as she has gotten older.
“I lift heavy, I do a lot of weights now because as you get older you need to start doing that in your 30s,” Lopez said. “Muscle is the thing that burns fat. And as we get older, we lose the muscle. So, we need to build the muscle to keep a youthful appearance.”
Beyond the gym, Lopez has continued to embrace moments that celebrate her iconic career.
Most recently, she showed love to Amazon Prime’s “Off Campus” after the show featured a recreation of her unforgettable green Versace jungle dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards.
After seeing the tribute, Lopez excitedly shared her reaction online, writing: “Love this shooooww.”
