Kamu Kirk went from working with the reality TV icons to getting betrayed by them. He called out Jason De Puy during a tea party when he thought Rick Devens, Angela Murray, and Dee Valladares were on his side. He also said negative things about drag on the live feeds.
The MMA fighter addressed his comments and his relationship with the former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestant.
Kamu Kirk Said He Didn’t Want To Be Pressured To Dress Differently on ‘Big Brother 28’
CBSKirk was evicted on Aug. 20, and he responded to his comment about drag in an interview. “With the whole comment, I love Jason,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “On a personal level, I love Jason. Our games didn’t align. So, you know, there was some beef there game-wise. But even when he was evicted that night, I felt bad for him. I didn’t wanna see him crying.”
He later said, “And Jason and all those guys, they can dress however they wanna dress. And that’s cool with me. But I also wanna be able to dress the way that I wanna be able to dress and feel comfortable dressing without people putting pressure on me to dress a certain way either.”
He was asked if he would see the drag queen’s show in the future. “I’m not sure, but I do hope to see him on finale night,” Kirk answered.
De Puy was evicted after Kirk targeted him. The MMA fighter also had a strong reaction to Drew Campbell wearing Mallory Aurichio’s pink unicorn pajamas.
Kirk spoke to Devens in the Head of Household room, where there are cameras on other rooms in the house. “Are those dudes dressed in women’s clothes?” the “Survivor 50” player asked. “That’s Drew dressed in women’s pajamas.”
Kirk said he was with him and there was a third set of pajamas. “I was like, ‘I’m not doing that, bro,'” he told Devens. “I told him and said bro, miss me with the drag stuff. Miss me with the–I’m still [an] MMA guy, and I have an image to uphold.”
Jason De Puy Does Drag as Other ‘Big Brother 28’ Contestants
De Puy is back to performing at drag shows as Salina EsTitties. He was a contestant on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 15 and returned for the 11th season of All Stars.
The drag performer is now on Cameo and promoted it by doing drag as other houseguests. On Aug. 20, he posted a video as an exaggerated version of Kirk. De Puy wore a T-shirt that alludes to a shirtless man covered in tattoos and a fake mustache.
“The queen! Queen Kamu! Queen of the tea party,” is heard. That’s from De Puy taunting Kirk after he started an argument at the tea party in front of everyone. The video cuts to De Puy as a tattooed man in a pink wrestling costume, alluding to the wrestling competition earlier this season.
Kirk is the fifth houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house. The reality TV icons continue to power this season, since this was their target.
