“Big Brother” Season 28 is almost halfway through as we head farther into Week 7, but apparently, there are still new things for longtime fans to learn. A current houseguest has been on TV before. And no, this isn’t one of the reality icons who entered the house this summer.
Drew Campbell, 22, a surgical dental assistant (that’s important later) from Temecula, CA, actually has two television credits from before “Big Brother.” One is an appearance on a competition series and another on a popular game show.
ParamountYep, “Big Brother” fans have discovered that Drew has already had some experience in front of the cameras, and his past appearances are pretty random when compared to his current reality TV journey.
Drew Campbell Has Already Been on Reality TV Before
Now, on the reality TV side of things, figuring this one out is super easy.
Listed on Drew’s IMDb page is a credit for none other than “Beast Games,” the “reality-competition show, in which over 1,000 contestants play for a single $5 million cash payout” created by Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. MrBeast.
Drew appeared as Player 655 in Season 1, which premiered on Prime Video in 2024. He made it through the first round of eliminations in Episode 1, only to be caught out during Episode 2.
So, Drew isn’t exactly new to the whole reality competition thing.
Of course, “Beast Games” and “Big Brother” are two very different shows. One had more than 1,000 people competing for a massive cash prize, while the other has Drew living with strangers, making alliances, winning competitions, and trying to avoid getting sent home.
Still, it seems like Drew has already gotten a little practice at competing on television before entering the “Big Brother” house.
And, let’s be real, having “Beast Games” on a reality TV résumé before turning 23 isn’t exactly something every “Big Brother” houseguest can say.
He Was Also a Contestant on a Popular Game Show
His other TV appearance is something fans seem to have stumbled upon, and this one is even more unexpected. Drew was a contestant on the hit game show “Let’s Make a Deal,” hosted by Wayne Brady.
ParamountHe appeared in Season 17, Episode 60, which aired on December 17, 2025. And since the show has contestants dress up, Drew wore a toothpaste tube.
Honestly, knowing his profession, it seems like a pretty fitting choice. Reminder: he’s a surgical dental assistant. So, showing up to “Let’s Make a Deal” dressed as toothpaste is certainly one way to lean into the theme.
The game Drew was tasked with playing involved picking the correct numbered key to unlock a glass box which held the keys to a new car. He was given 15 seconds on the clock to try as many keys as he wanted and $1500. The catch? Drew could give back money to earn more time, but he decided he could get it in two keys and didn’t need more. Essentially choosing to walk away with the money, even if he couldn’t unlock the car.

It is honestly one of those random television appearances that makes this discovery even better. Drew went from being a contestant in a giant reality competition, to dressing up as toothpaste on a game show, to eventually becoming a “Big Brother” houseguest.
Yep, that is quite the television résumé.
Drew is Fighting to Stay in the ‘Big Brother’ Season 28 House
While Drew’s past TV appearances are fun to discover, his current “Big Brother” game is where things get serious.

Now, however, he finds himself in a pretty dangerous position.
Dee won HOH in Week 7, and Drew ended up on the Block. With the Veto already played and airing Wednesday night at 8:00pm ET on CBS, spoiler alert: Drew will still be up there come eviction night this Thursday.
That means Drew needs to win the BB Blockbuster if he wants to save himself. And let’s be real, this could be one of the biggest moments of his “Big Brother” game so far.
‘Big Brother’ is Reaching a Major Milestone
The timing of Drew’s possible eviction is also pretty significant for the franchise. Thursday’s episode, also airing at 8:00pm ET on CBS, will be the 1,000th “Big Brother” episode, making it a huge night for the long-running reality show.
ParamountAccording to a CBS press release, the episode will include:
“Surprise appearances from former Houseguests determined by interactive fan votes and kick off the biggest twist of the summer” and a “look back at some of the most memorable moments from the show’s historic 26-year run and shift into overdrive with the BB Blockbuster and a live eviction.”
So, if Drew does end up leaving the game, it would happen during a major episode in “Big Brother” history. If he manages to win the BB Blockbuster, however, he will get the chance to continue his unusual reality TV journey.
It seems like there is still plenty of time for Drew to add another chapter to his television résumé, and honestly, going from “Beast Games” to “Let’s Make a Deal” to “Big Brother” is already one of the more unexpected paths a Season 28 houseguest has taken.
