A “Big Brother” reunion of stars just happened—and this time, it wasn’t inside the house.
Julie Chen Moonves and Frankie Grande crossed paths again in New York City, where the “Big Brother” host herself showed up to support Grande during his first performance in the Broadway musical “Titanique.”
Chen Moonves recently documented the night on Instagram, sharing a series of backstage photos from the Broadway night out.
Julie Chen Reunites With Frankie Grande on Broadway
CBSChen Moonves gave fans a glimpse inside the reunion with a carousel of photos, including selfies with Grande—famously known as Ariana Grande’s brother—backstage and a playful shot of the two saluting while he wore a costume from the show.
Joey Fatone of *NSYNC—and who also recently jumped on board as a producer for the Broadway show—also made an appearance on Chen Moonves’ post.
“Saw the fabulous @frankiejgrande on Broadway in Titanique! Laughed for 90 minutes straight,” Chen Moonves wrote. “The cast, the music, the jokes, the whole night was an 11.
“Frankie’s solo of course stole my heart ❤️ Frankie, you were born to be on The Great White Way ❤️ Don’t walk, run to go see @titaniquemusical !!”
He also shared his own post reflecting on the moment.
“Last night was one of the greatest nights of my entire life. I performed my heart out for a sold out audience at the saint james theatre and right in the front was mother… @juliechenmoonves. 🥰,” Grande wrote. “Our relationship has been so special to me and I struggle to adequately express the joy that I had in my heart seeing Julie and Les [Moonves] beaming back at me from the stage. 🌈🫶🏼”
“Big Brother” season 27 houseguest Jimmy Heagerty expressed his support in the comments.
“ICONS🔥🔥😍 CANT WAIT TO SEE IT ON 4/11😍,” he wrote.
Lisa Weintraub of season 26 chimed in with, “Love this so much!!”
Grande first competed on season 16 of “Big Brother” in 2014, where he finished in fifth place after being evicted during the BB Rewind week. During the season, he was part of the “Bomb Squad” alliance before later joining “The Detonators.”
He then went on to appear on “Celebrity Big Brother” season 18 in the U.K. and finished sixth. He also placed joint third on “Big Brother: Reindeer Games.”
Frankie Grande Stars in ‘Titanique’ on Broadway

“Titanique” is a musical comedy that reimagines the “Titanic” movie through the perspective of Céline Dion.
The production features a Dion-driven soundtrack with songs including “My Heart Will Go On,” “All By Myself,” and “To Love You More,” while retelling Jack and Rose’s story with comedic twists and theatrical elements, Deadline reports.
The show began Off-Broadway before expanding internationally and moving to Broadway. It has also won the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.
Grande, 43, plays two roles in the production: Victor Garber and Luigi.
The cast includes Deborah Cox, Melissa Barrera, John Riddle, Layton Williams, and others.
Grande previously appeared on Broadway in “Rock of Ages” in 2014 to 2015, and “Mamma Mia!” from 2007 to 2010, and has also performed in Off-Broadway productions, regional theater, and touring shows. He has produced Broadway projects and performed in cabaret acts, including his own one-man show.
Outside of theater, Grande has appeared in TV roles including the villain Frankini in the “Henry Danger” series and movie.
“Titanique” is scheduled to run at the St. James Theatre through July 12.
