Not all “Big Brother” frustrations come from blindsides or backdoors. Sometimes, it’s about something much smaller.
Season 27 houseguest Morgan Pope had fans laughing after sharing a lighthearted behind-the-scenes detail about her time in the house, revealing that one classic element was noticeably missing.
In a recent post, Pope—who was evicted on finale night in third place by the final Head of Household and eventual winner Ashley Hollis—joked about a moment back home that instantly reminded her of the experience.
“Waking up at my parents house to see a rubber ducky floating in the pool is so funny to me lol,” she wrote. “It reminds me of how upset we were during the season cause we didn’t get the floating ducky like the OG seasons/recent seasons of BB hahaha (then we ended up getting floaties) lol.”
While it’s hardly a game-breaking issue, longtime viewers know the floating rubber duck has become a subtle staple in the “Big Brother” backyard over the years, making its absence surprisingly noticeable for houseguests.
The Missing Detail That Had the Cast ‘Upset’
CBSAccording to Pope, the lack of the iconic floating duck didn’t go unnoticed inside the house.
Though she made it clear the complaint was all in good fun, her post revealed that multiple houseguests were disappointed they didn’t get the same pool accessory seen in past season.
Instead, the cast eventually got floaties, she said. Apparently just not the specific one they had been hoping for.
Captain Will Agrees: ‘Facts!’
CBSPope’s post also got a reaction from a familiar face.
Fellow houseguest Cliffton “Captain Will” Williams chimed in in the replies, keeping this short and relatable with: “😂😂😂 Facts!”
His response only added to the moment, confirming that the feeling was shared among the cast.
At the end of the day, it’s a reminder that while “Big Brother” is known for its high-stakes gameplay, sometimes the most memorable moments are the smallest—and yes, apparently, that includes a missing rubber duck.
Morgan Pope Reflects on ‘Big Brother’ Journey After the Season
CBSSince leaving the house, Pope has returned to Twitch streaming and has continued sharing glimpses of her experience with fans. In a recent post on X, she looked back at her time before season 27, sharing what she said was the last photo she took before entering the house.
“The last pic I took before getting scooped up by production for #BB27. I had no idea what was in store for me but man if only I knew 🥹💛,” she wrote.
Pope added that she still feels grateful for the support she’s received since the season ended.
“So honored to still be surrounded by so much love & support after my season ended,” Pope added. “Truly unforgettable! I love y’all & I love Big Brother✨.”
