‘Big Brother 28’ Live Spoilers & Recap – Which Reality TV Icon Will Be Joining the Jury? (09/10/26)

⚠️WARNING: This post is being updated live as “Big Brother” Season 28 airs tonight and will contain spoilers. Keep refreshing this page for the latest results and all of tonight’s biggest moments.

We’re back with another “Big Brother” Season 28 live eviction. And Barrett is calling the shots this week. After winning HOH, he put the Icons from BB26 and “Survivor” on the block, leaving three pretty major players (Angela, Dee, and Devens) fighting for their spots in the game.

Yash then won the Power of Veto in the classic BB Comics comp. But he decided not to use it, meaning the nominations stayed exactly the same heading into tonight. Yep, this puts all the pressure on the BB BlockBuster. Whoever wins gets another shot at safety, while the other two nominees will have to rely on the votes.

What Happened During BB Week 9?

While Barrett’s HOH win immediately put the house in an interesting position (i.e. having all three reality TV icons sitting on the block), it was Yash who ultimately decided what would happen next. He had the power to shake everything up, again! But he left noms the same.

That means Angela, Dee, and Devens are now fighting for their places in the game tonight.

And Dee is not waiting around to see what happens in the BB BlockBuster. She has been campaigning hard to make sure she has enough votes to stay in the “Big Brother” house if she doesn’t win the competition.

Dee spoke with Melody and Angela about forming a girls only alliance, if her and Angela both stay this week.

She also talked with both Yash and Taylor about the possibility of keeping her around, pointing to her ability to win competitions and work with them moving forward. The two Houseguests seemed to believe what Dee was telling them, but whether that actually translates into votes remains to be seen.

Elsewhere in the BB House…

Melody isn’t exactly impressed with Drew’s gameplay right now. She thinks he needs to “grow a backbone” and even called him “pathetic” for the way he’s handling things.

What Melody doesn’t know, however, is that there’s actually a plan behind Drew’s behavior. Drew told Devens to pretend that he is targeting him, hoping to throw everyone off and make it look like Drew isn’t actually working with the Icons.

Perhaps Drew’s strategy is working a little too well if Melody genuinely believes he’s not willing to make a move. But on the other hand, Melody still continued to flirt with Drew after her comments.

Meanwhile, current HOH Barrett has started questioning whether he made the right move this week. He knows that his safety only lasts for so long, and once he is no longer HOH, he could suddenly find himself in a very different position.

Yep, it seems like Barrett may have created a bigger problem for himself than he expected. Depending on which reality icon goes home tonight, he could have a major target waiting for him on the other side of his HOH reign.

Both Angela and Dee have already discussed the possibility of going after Barrett if they survive the week, meaning his HOH could come back to bite him sooner rather than later.

Let’s be real, winning HOH is great until the person you just nominated gets another chance to come after you.

Now, on Day 66 one of the icons is going to the Jury house. Who will it be?

Who Won the ‘BB BlockBuster’ Comp?

But, before the live vote, Angela, Dee, and Devens will compete for one final chance to save themselves. And honestly, it seems like this could be one of those BB BlockBuster comps where the winner completely changes the direction of the week.

Ahead of tonight’s live episode, Julie Chen Moonves gave fans a look at what tonight’s comp will be on Instagram. In a joint post with content creators, Asher Lieberman and Carter Kench, Julie and the official “Big Brother” account shared:

“And we’re back! It’s another BB Block Buster! Who do you think will win this tonight? Someone’s going to the Jury! #BB28 thanks Asher and Carter for playing along!”

So what do the players have to do? Well, “Reinvent the Wheel” has them building a 3d double-sided puzzle showing tribal-inspired hieroglyphics that looks like a wheel. In the video, Julie explains that “every puzzle piece has to fit on either one or both rods” and the “first person to complete it and rings a bell wins.”

This is the last chance for one of the nominees to take control of their own fate before the live vote. When one of them wins, the remaining two nominees will be left waiting to find out where the house stands.

Now that the BB BlockBuster is over, the remaining nominees Angela and Dee will have to wait for the Houseguests to make their decision. And let’s be real, this could be one of the most important votes of the season.

Stay tuned…
