Dee Valladares is fighting to stay in the “Big Brother 28” house, and her campaign may be working.
Barrett remains Head of Household after nominating Angela Murray, Dee and Rick Devens. Yash won the Power of Veto and chose not to use it. As a result, the nominations remain unchanged heading into the next eviction.
However, Dee is making a late push to change the expected outcome. During RHAP’s Day 64 live feed update, Taran Armstrong and Aysha Welch discussed Dee’s campaign. They also talked about how her conversations with Yash and Taylor could shift the vote in her favor.
Dee Valladares Makes Her Case to Yash and Taylor
Rather than accepting her position, Dee has focused her campaign on convincing Yash and Taylor that keeping her benefits their games.
According to Armstrong and Welch, Dee emphasized both her loyalty and her ability to win competitions. She pitched herself as a valuable ally during her campaign.
Her competition record could normally give other players a reason to evict her. However, Dee has attempted to turn that threat level into an advantage. Her argument centers on the idea that having a strong competitor on their side could benefit Yash and Taylor as the game moves closer to the end.
Armstrong noted that parts of Dee’s argument rest on questionable interpretations of previous events. However, he explained that houseguests’ memories of the game can change over time. This could potentially allow a persuasive campaign to reshape how they view past decisions.
By the end of the update, Taylor and Yash appeared prepared to move forward with the vote flip.
ParamountAngela Murray Tries to Shift the Target
Angela has also attempted to improve her position as the eviction approaches.
According to the recap, Angela tried to redirect attention toward Drew as relationships throughout the house continued to shift.
Dee, meanwhile, has largely focused on running her own campaign rather than coordinating closely with Devens. Drew has reassured Devens that he intends to vote to keep him, giving Devens another potential path through the week.
The different approaches show how fractured the Icons have become since Barrett put three members of the group on the block.
Barrett’s Social Game Raises Questions
While the nominees campaign, Barrett has spent significant time separated from the other houseguests.
Welch noted that Barrett has been retreating to the HOH room and talking to the cameras more than interacting with the house.
That distance could matter after his HOH ends, especially as new voting relationships begin to form without him.
Drew and Melody have also attracted attention from the house following a playful pool interaction. This has added more speculation about their increasingly close relationship.
For now, though, Dee’s campaign has become the biggest strategic development of the week.
What initially appeared to be a straightforward path toward eviction has turned into another fluid “Big Brother 28” vote. If Dee can keep Yash and Taylor on board through eviction night, her campaign could become one of the season’s most important last-minute turnarounds.
