Ariana Biermann first graced our television screens as a young girl when her mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, starred on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Now, at the age of 23, she and a few other kids of iconic Housewives stars have their very own Bravo series, “Next Gen NYC.”
In season 1, fans followed Biermann’s longtime romance with Hudson McLeroy, her childhood sweetheart since the age of 14. So it came as a complete shock when she recently revealed that the couple had split.
Ariana Biermann Announces Her Breakup With Hudson McLeroy on Instagram
On Oct. 14, Ariana Biermann took fans by complete surprise when she announced that she and her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, had split. Taking to Instagram Stories, the reality TV star shared, “hudson and i have decided to go our separate ways, while these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now.”
She continued, “we are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s okay, love you all.”
According to People, Biermann and McLeroy were both raised in Atlanta and attended the same high school together, where they first met. They would go on to have an on-again, off-again relationship for nine years. Fans would later see their relationship play out on season one of “Next Gen NYC,” as the couple made the big move to the Big Apple.
In a July 2024 Instagram post, Biermann shared that she and McLeroy had officially moved in together. “taking our love story to a new city 🙂 we officially live in New York!!!! thank you god for making this possible and allowing me to live my dream w my best friend <3”
Fans React to the Shocking Split
GettyFans were quick to react to Biermann’s breakup post, flooding social media with heartbreak over this Bravo couple’s split.
After a Facebook page shared the Bravo star’s post, fans commented things like: “Nooooo. That’s sad. I loved them together.” Another comment read, “Darn I was really rooting for them together.” Meanwhile, some fans believed that, given their history of splitting and reuniting, Biermann and McLeroy might eventually get back together.
“I think time apart will make them closer. I think they’re meant to be,” a fan shared. “They are sooooo getting back together,” another comment read.
According to Us Weekly, it has not yet been officially announced if “Next Gen NYC” season 2 will be renewed, but given the success of its first season, it is likely. Fans may get to see what led to the couple’s fallout and how they plan to figure out their living arrangements.
