Ariana Biermann is moving out after her recent split from childhood sweetheart Hudson McLeroy. Find out what’s next for the “Next Gen NYC” star.
Ariana and Hudson’s Relationship Detailed
When Ariana appeared on “Comments by Celebs” podcast on July 10, she admitted that her older sister, Brielle Biermann, first introduced her to Hudson when they were both 14 years old while on vacation in Florida.
Prior to their split, it seemed like the couple had plans to get married. Kim Zolciak‘s daughter spoke with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish” prior to her breakup from Hudson in August and admitted that she had a “five-year rule” for him when it came to getting engaged. At the time, she said she expected a proposal in “a little less than two years.”
“But I don’t want to rush him [or], you know, make him feel, like, pressure,” Ariana said. “But he really talks about it all the time. So I’m like, ‘Stop talking about it and do it or don’t do it.’ Everybody’s getting engaged! Really, everybody.”
Why Did Ariana and Hudson Split?
When announcing their breakup in an Instagram Story on October 14, Ariana said, “Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways. While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions, and that’s OK. Love you all.”
What Was Hudson’s Response?
One day after Ariana announced her and Hudson’s breakup, he also addressed the split on his Instagram story:
“I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story. I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be. I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us through this difficult time.”
‘Onto the next chapter’
In a video posted to Instagram on Thursday, October 16, Ariana documented her move from the apartment she shared with Hudson and into her own apartment. The caption of the video reads, “onto the next chapter – thank you @roadwaymoving #roadwaymoving #ad”
“Today is moving day, again,” Ariana said at the start of the video. “I’m moving into my own apartment…first ever apartment in New York City. I’m the sole person on the lease.” She referenced her breakup when concluding, “I’m excited, but also a very bittersweet thing.”
The video continued with movers transferring her belongings to her new apartment.
At the end of the video, Biermann stood on the balcony of her apartment later that night, overlooking the iconic New York skyline. “My first night ever in my own apartment.”
