The “Next Gen NYC” star Ariana Biermann gave fans (and haters) an update on her finances and living situation more than a week after announcing her breakup with childhood sweetheart Hudson McLeroy. Ariana acknowledged the rumor floating around that she couldn’t afford to live in New York City without Hudson’s support.
An Instagram Tell-All
“I do want to say a little something,” Ariana began in a reel posted to her Instagram on October 23. “To all the people who said, ‘she’s going to have to move back to Atlanta. Oh, my god, she’s broke…welcome to my apartment.”
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” daughter showed off one room of her apartment before going on to clarify, “I am paying my own rent.”
“I do live with my best friend,” Ariana continued. “We moved in together because, frankly, I don’t want to pay the full rent, and he’s my best friend in the world, so it works out perfectly.”
While speaking on her financial situations in the past, she reassured her followers that, “I am living well within my means. I am okay.”
“Girl, I do not want to spend my money. I do not want to spend my money like that,” Ariana proudly highlighted her coffee table. “Is this coffee table $150 from TikTok shop? Sure. I give credit where credit is due. Did I build it myself with my friends? I sure did. In all seriousness, this is my apartment, and I will show you guys the full apartment tour when it is more put together.”
“I just wanted to show you guys that I do still live in New York City, and here is the proof.” At the end of her reel, Ariana turned the camera around and showed off the beautiful view from her apartment of the iconic NYC skyline. “See that? Gorgeous view.”
Ariana posted a reel on October 16 bringing fans along with her as she moved into her current apartment.
Ariana’s Moving Statement on Hudson
“For those wondering how I’m feeling and how I’m doing, I’m…heartbroken. Shattered. I’m shattered,” Ariana bravely admitted in her Instagram reel. “I don’t know what the future holds, and I really have faith in God that God will just continue to guide me to where I need to be. And what is meant to be, will always be.”
“I’m just figuring out my life and just focusing on me,” Ariana said. “But I am paying my own rent, and girl, I worked for it.”
The Inside Scoop on ‘Next Gen NYC’
Ariana then went on to thank her fans for making her lifestyle possible. “I wouldn’t be in this position without you guys,” she said. “As you guys now know, we are filming season two for ‘Next Gen,’ so get ready to watch me crash…out.”
“I’m trying to…get my life together,” Ariana stated. “But I have faith in God and trusting in this process and God to continue to guide me to the right places and make the right decisions every day.”
At the end of her reel, Ariana left fans with an uplifting sentiment. “I love you. Thank you so much,” she said to her fans. “And come with me on this journey.”
