Beloved ‘Below Deck’ Star’s Ex Makes Rare Comment About Split

“Below Deck” star Chef Ben Robinson’s ex-fiancée, Kiara Cabral, has set the record straight after he claimed their engagement ended because she cheated. Robinson made his allegations during a night out on “Below Deck Down Under,” and now Cabral is speaking her truth about the relationship.

Ben Robinson’s Ex-Fiancée Kiara Cabral Denies Cheating on Him

I apologize for how awkward I am coming off… Talking about my feels on camera does not come easily to me. Quite frankly making this video game me an immense amount of anxiety. Take what you want from what I have said, but I am sick feeling like I don’t have a voice when it comes to my own life, and now I would really like to just move on.

Taking to TikTok, a somber Cabral made a rare statement about her breakup with Robinson to deny she cheated on him.

“Everything Ben has said about me on the show is 100% false. I have never, and I would never be romantically involved with any of his friends. That’s not the kind of person I am,” she expressed.

Cabral explained that she was the one to end the relationship, not the “Below Deck” chef. She admitted it wasn’t easy for her, but it had to be done because of the way Robinson treated her.

“There was a lot of trauma I had to deal with from that relationship, and honestly, I just want it to be over,” Cabral stated.

It’s been over two years since Cabral and Robinson’s engagement was called off. She’s more than ready to leave the relationship in the past, but his latest stint on “Below Deck Down Under” has brought up that trauma again for her.

“It’s been over two years since the relationship ended, and I’ve healed since then. I truly hope he has as well. I know the show that is airing now. It was probably filmed a while ago, but now that it’s airing and I’m being demonized, it is really hard on me, and it’s opening a lot of scars,” she declared.

Cabral ended her message by saying she’s a “nobody” who has no platform, unlike her former fiancé. Robinson’s a fan favorite reality TV star with a huge social media following, but Cabral’s simply asking for peace as the rest of “Below Deck Down Under” Season 4 airs.

‘Below Deck’s Ben Robinson Tells His Side of the Story

On “Below Deck Down Under,” Robinson got emotional as he spoke out about his breakup with Cabral. Although he didn’t mention her by name, the chef admitted he was supposed to get married, but before the wedding, he learned his fiancée was unfaithful.

“I was meant to get married last year. And I caught her,  she had been seeing one of my friends for a very long time,” he shared, tearing up in a confessional.

The confession came after both Daisy Kelliher and Alesia Harris opted to kill Robinson during a game of Shag, Marry, Kill. The chef broke down amid the game, with Kelliher trying to console him as Robinson explained he was “extra sensitive” because everyone “lets him down,” so he’s lost faith in humanity.

It was the first time the “Below Deck” chef had addressed why his wedding was called off.

Cabral and Robinson announced their engagement in 2023 after dating for four years. In September 2024, Robinson confirmed he was no longer engaged.
