‘Below Deck Med’ Chef Josh Bingham Dishes on the Most Annoying Guest Food Requests

Bravo’s “Below Deck Mediterranean” season 10 sees Captain Sandy Yawn back at the helm and fan-favorite chief stewardess Aesha Scott keeping things running smoothly inside the yacht. When it comes to the new crew, this season introduces a brand new chef, Josh Bingham, who has already impressed his guests and his fellow crew members.

A Michelin-trained chef, Bingham has delivered impeccable food so far. His talent paid off with a massive €30,000 tip during the first charter. But, while Bingham appears to keep his cool in the galley and with demanding guests, he admits that five food requests always test his patience.

Chef Josh Bingham Names the Guest Food Requests That Drive Him Crazy

“Below Deck Mediterranean’s” newest chef, Josh Bingham, is shaping up to be one of the best chefs in the franchise’s history, clown makeup and all. The chef appeared as a guest on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Oct. 20, and hilariously shared the top five guest food requests that annoy him the most.

At number five, Bingham shared, “Burgers, 30 burgers at 3 a.m.” When Cohen asked if Bingham made all those burgers, he shared that he did, showcasing that his dedication as a yacht chef runs deep.

Bingham said that at number four was “fine dining for a dog.” The chef admitted that while he had no issues serving a guest’s beloved pooch, he’s already “stressed” trying to make impeccable meals for his human guests.

At number three, Bingham revealed that as a chef, he despises “waste,” so when he had to cook an entire pig and no one touched it, he was understandably frustrated. “It made me very sad,” he told the host.

At number two, the chef shared that one of his biggest pet peeves is when guests request a “no dairy, no sugar dessert,” only to end up eating the one that’s full of both.

Finally, topping his list, Bingham revealed his biggest annoyance was guests ordering piles of expensive caviar to eat only a fraction. Luckily, the crew made sure nothing went to waste!

Chef Bingham is making waves on “Below Deck Med.” When Chief Stew Aesha Scott appeared as a guest on WWHL, Cohen asked her to compare him to all the other chefs she’s worked with.

“Probably one of the best or the best chef I’ve ever worked with,” Scott revealed, adding, “He’s one of those chefs where not one time I felt nervous or tense when walking into the galley.” She also shared that Bingham went the extra mile for her, making her fresh juice every day.

Even Captain Sandy Yawn is singing high praise for her chef this season. In an interview with Reality Tea, she shared, “You know, honestly, yeah, I think he’s gonna be great, to be honest.” But, Yawn added that she’s looking forward to watching the entire season back to see if any guests complained about their meals. Still, she called Bingham “a great person.”
