‘Below Deck Med’ Sneak Peak: Aesha Scott Relives Stew Nightmare

Bravo’s hit maritime reality TV series is back! “Below Deck Mediterranean” season 10 is set to premiere on Sept. 29 with Captain Sandy Yawn at the helm of the M/Y Bravado as it sails through the stunning waters of Spain.

Returning alongside Captain Sandy is fan-favorite chief stew Aesha Scott. In a sneak peek of the premiere, Scott admits she’s feeling some serious “PTSD” after discovering her stews lack experience. Could she be in for a repeat of the challenges she faced in season 9?

Aesha Scott Jokes About Laundry ‘PTSD’ on ‘Below Deck Med’

“Below Deck Mediterranean” season 10 brings Aesha Scott back in action as chief stew as the crew sails around Barcelona, Spain. But, in a sneak peek of the premiere, Scott is already hesitant about her two new stews, who don’t come with strong experience. In fact, Scott even jokes that one stew in particular is giving her a bit of “PTSD,” reminding her of a previous stew who struggled with laundry.

In the clip provided by Bravo’s Daily Dish, Scott sits down with her two stews, Kizzi Kitchener and Victoria “V” SanJuan, to choose who should be second and third stew. Seeing that Kitchener has a little bit more experience, she makes her second stew, which means SanJuan will take care of the interior, including laundry, but that’s not one of her strong suits.

In a confessional, Scott shares a poem she’s written about how she feels knowing that she may have to work overtime to get her stews up to speed.

“I’ve written a little poem,” she begins. “I’m a bit worried about V, because it rhymes with Bri, and I’ve got PTSD from last season’s laundry.”

“Below Deck” fans are well aware that Scott was referring to season 9 stew Bri Muller, who struggled in the laundry throughout the charter season. Charter guests were left without clothing, and Muller even found herself in a heated exchange with stew Elena Dubaich, for her lack of experience. Still, Muller made it through the charter season with Captain Sandy awarding her “most improved.”

A Look at the Season 10 ‘Below Deck Med’ Crew

Captain Sandy and Scott aren’t the only returning faces appearing on season 10 of “Below Deck Med.” Nathan Gallagher also comes back, this time stepping up from a deckhand in season 9 to a bosun.

In season 9, Gallagher and other deckhand Gael Cameron struck up a romance, and it looks like things will get tense between the two when they discuss the state of their relationship in the new season. He also has a big surprise as he hints that he is going to become a father.

Also returning is Max Salvador, who was a deckhand in season 8 of “Below Deck Med.” In a teaser for the upcoming season, the Frenchman comes back with a new look at life after a self-reflecting trip to Bali. “My motivation was on the edge of burnout,” he tells Captain Sandy about his season 8 performance, promising her he’s back and ready with a whole new attitude.

As for the new crew, viewers will get to meet chef Josh Bingham, who has experience working at Michelin-starred restaurants. Second stew, Kitchener, who has no problem making out with the crew, and third stew, SanJuan, who hopefully doesn’t disappoint Scott.

Rounding out the crew are deckhands Christian Trimino, bringing two years of yachting experience, and Tessa Budd, who comes aboard with four years of experience on yachts.
