Aesha Scott Reveals What Her ‘Below Deck’ Future Plans Are After Marriage

“Below Deck Down Under” and “Below Deck Mediterranean” star Aesha Scott is gearing up for her upcoming wedding to Scott Dobson.

Despite having plans to settle down, Bravo fans can still expect to see Scott on their small screens. While sitting down with Page Six on October 13, the chief stew said of her foreseeable post-marriage life, “I think it’ll stay the same.”

“I think one of the reasons we work so well is because I’m a very independent person, and he’s independent too,” she shared.

Scott revealed that she and Dobson are used to spending as long as six months apart, and they have no trouble saying goodbye to each other for long periods of time.

One of Scott’s upcoming plans is to make an appearance at BravoCon in November of this year, which she confirmed to Page Six.

“I’m so excited. I love BravoCon. In the Bravo world, we’re so lucky because we have the most loving, loyal, kind fans ever,” Scott gushed.

Scott Is Planning a Low-Key Wedding

Fans of “Below Deck” know that Scott is super down-to-earth, and it’s not surprising that her wedding will be as well.

In an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on September 29, the Bravolebrity said, “I don’t understand why people get so stressed, maybe because I’m a chief stew. You just sit down and email people and say, ‘Hey, can you do my wedding?’ And they say yes or no. I’m very simple, though. Noodles and curry, that’s all I need.”

As for which “Below Deck” cast members she’ll be inviting to her wedding, Scott said that she asked Captain Sandy Yawn, Nathan Gallagher, Gael Cameron, Hannah Ferrier, and Anastasia Surmava to attend.

She added, “And then a lot of people on the back end, too, and production.”

Scott’s Wedding Will Take Place in Her Native Country of New Zealand

Scott’s wedding planning is well underway, and she shared details with People. She and Dobson will be getting married in New Zealand, where she hails from, and the reception will have personal touches.

“We’re doing a saxophone-playing DJ because I love the saxophone. Get the sax out and put the bangers on!” she told the outlet.

As for refreshments, Scott shared, “We’re going down a not-so-traditional route, and we are doing all Thai food because I’m obsessed with Thai. If I’m a little bit tipsy after the afternoon drinks, I want to sit down, I want to slurp up a curry. I just want to sit there in spice heaven, so we’re going to do Thai food.”

The “Below Deck” franchise star will also have a signature drink named the “Chief Stew” after her. “Martinis are my favorite, favorite thing. I don’t like cocktails when there’s just too much volume. You just feel so full and uncomfortable afterwards. I just want something that’s less quantity but really, really quality, and you just enjoy every sip,” she revealed.
