Bravo Bigwig Discusses Who the Network Would Love to Forgive

The Bravo boss and one of the leading figures behind the network’s reality television offerings has given their opinion on who the network can forgive. With so many shows that feature volatile and controversial figures, ranging from “The Real Housewives” and “Below Deck” to “Southern Charm” and “The Valley,” it is no surprise that some people have fallen foul of the network, but Frances Berwick has revealed exactly who she is capable of forgiving.

Frances Berwick Reveals Who Bravo Can Forgive

Speaking in an interview with Variety, Frances Berwick — the chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted — gave her opinion on those that could possibly be welcomed back into the Bravo family under the right circumstances.

During the interview, Berwick was asked about gradations of criminal behavior, in terms of what is forgivable and what goes over the line. In particular, the question mentioned Karen Huger who was imprisoned after being convicted for the fourth time over DUI charges. As you might expect, Berwick gave a considered answer. She said, “It’s a variety of things, and it’s also about the level of accountability, the level of change that that person is going to make.”

“The audience is with Karen, because they’re rooting for her, because they think and believe that this will profoundly change her. I took the standing ovation as a sign of support for somebody who’s now taken accountability. That’s borne out by what she says to Andy. And then I think that there are things that are less forgivable.”

The conversation then turned to other people who might and might not be forgiven. When it came to Jen Shah, Berwick was fairly adamant that she wouldn’t appear in a Bravo show again — something Cohen has said in the past. She responded to the question if what she did was less forgivable, saying “For me personally, yeah. But you know, again, I have no idea on the level of accountability. But yes.”

Those who could be seen again and who Berwick was willing to possibly forgive included Kenya MooreNene Leakes, and Huger. She had earlier said that she was also willing to work with former “Sweet Home Oklahoma” cast members again in the future and would consider bringing them back to the network.

Shah was previously part of the cast of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” She was sentenced to six years in prison in 2023 after being convicted of charges that include fraud and money laundering.

The former reality television star has since posted messages online, thanking her fans for support and confirming that she is staying in good spirits.

Her arrest in 2021 during the filming of the second season of the show led to rumors that Meredith Marks may have had something to do with turning her in. However, Marks later denied the claims and explained that she was shocked by Shah’s arrest.

  1. TAMRA NEEDS TO GO. She’s a liar, she’s TOXIC and DESTRUCTIVE and the show has become unjoyable to watch with her in it. TAMRA is one sick cookie in my opinion and it shows more and more. IMO She has be one VERY SCAREY and needs to be removed from the show. Put a survey out and I’m sure the response will be overwhelming to get her OFF.
