Craig Conover opened up about his dating life—and the messy dynamic he became involved in while filming the 11th season of “Southern Charm.” Nearly one year after his split from Paige DeSorbo, Conover told People magazine he was involved in a complicated romantic situation with some of the new women on the Bravo reality show.
“I don’t know what the shape’s called — it’s definitely not a triangle,” Conover, 37, told the outlet. “There are definitely more sides. Actually, more than a square.”
The South Carolina businessman added that the dating dynamic in Charleston “feels like you’re in college no matter how old you are.”
“So basically, I’m in my thirties and this season feels like, I was like, ‘I’ve already done this before. What am I doing? I’ve already done exactly what I’m doing and what I’ve now gotten involved with.’ It felt like I was in college again,” he said. “So you’ll get to see me navigate, or start to navigate, a single life.”
The “Southern Charm” Season 11 trailer teases drama between Conover, Austen Kroll, Salley Carson, and newcomers Charley Manley and Whit Slagsvol. “A love triangle is happening,” star Madison LeCroy says before a clip of Conover on a date with Manley is shown.
Craig Conover Talked About the Situation at BravoCon
GettyAt the BravoCon fan fest in November 2025, Conover addressed his single status during the “It’s All About to Go South” panel. “I was like, ‘Maybe I’ll start dating, maybe I won’t,'” he said of his attitude during filming last summer, per BravoTV.com.
As for the dating he did do, Conover clarified, “I’ll tell you this: It’s not a triangle. It’s a shape that has too many sides for me to know what it’s called. … I would say it’s more of a trapezoid than a triangle.”
“[There] were lots of people that liked each other,” he added. “I think saying that it was a triangle is minimalistic for Season 11.”
Craig Conover Previously Said He Wanted to Find Someone to Travel With
Conover is still single, but he has made it clear he wants to find a partner who has a flexible schedule after his three years of long-distance dating with DeSorbo.
During an interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” earlier this year, he said, “I just want someone to travel with. Because I’m on the road so much now, and I’m fortunate that I can be very spontaneous with my time. And I think it would be fun to find someone share that life with again.”
“Southern Charm” airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
