Bravo star Missé Beqiri is focusing on family after the death of her ex, Jake Hall, star of UK reality show “The Only Way Is Essex.” He was just 35.
Beqiri starred as one of the featured women on the recently-rebooted “Ladies of London.” The show originally ran for three seasons on Bravo from 2014-2017, before it was revived with a new cast in 2026. The reboot’s first season, dubbed “Ladies of London: The New Reign,” concluded in April.
Beqiri and Hall began dating in 2016, welcomed daughter River together in 2017, and got engaged in 2018. They later ended their relationship.
Missé Beqiri Addresses Hall’s Death
Beqiri’s talent agent released a statement to the BBC on May 7, as news of Hall’s death began to make headlines around the world.
“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss,” it read. “The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
Hall’s previous show, “The Only Way Is Essex,” also released a statement reading: “Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years, and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”
Boston United football club, for which Hall used to play, shared a tribute to X as well.
“RIP Jake… You were only with us a short time, but your presence shone the spotlight on the club,” it read. “We will always remember that goal against Tamworth. Our thoughts go out to your family and friends.”
Details of Hall’s Death
According to reporting from The Sun, Hall died after sustaining head injuries in an accident at a villa in Majorca, Spain.
The Spanish Civil Guard told BBC that the incident “appears to be an accidental death,” while the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office also told the outlet they “are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
The Civil Guard added they are awaiting autopsy results.
Hall had been sharing photos and videos of him and his daughter in Spain to social media in the days leading up to his death.
Alongside a carousel of images from the trip, leading with one of him and River, he added the caption, “My world – my world ! My world ❤️🔥”
Jake Hall’s Final Instagram Post
His final post came just a day ago.
“Life is bollocks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – ✨⚡️ looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms,” he wrote in his caption, while giving followers a look into his recent life.
In the comments, TOWIE narrator Denise van Outen wrote, “Heartbreaking news💔having worked on @towie for 16 years this is devastating news for so many who knew Jake. A lovely man with an Incredible energy. Deepest condolences to Jake’s family & friends. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. 🕊️🤍”
TOWIE’s Georgia Harrison also added, “RIP jake my hearts breaking for everyone close to you today and your amazing family 💔.”
