Maura Higgins did not hesitate when asked about Kyle Cooke after he mentioned her during a recent appearance
“I don’t know who Kyle Cooke is.”
That was Higgins’ blunt response in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, reacting to Cooke mentioning her during his “Watch What Happens Live” appearance.
What could have been a routine Bravo crossover quickly turned awkward.
A Bravo Moment That Didn’t Land the Way You’d Expect
During his “Watch What Happens Live” appearance, Cooke brought up Higgins when he was asked about which Bravo women who have caught his eye following his split from Amanda Batula.
He even referenced her appearance on “The Traitors,” saying he had just started watching and was impressed.
Instead, it didn’t land the way you might expect.
Higgins did not try to soften the response or play along.
“Does he have a big ego? I’ve never watched ‘Summer House’ either. I don’t know who he is,” she told Us Weekly.
It is a rare kind of disconnect in a reality TV ecosystem where crossover awareness is usually part of the culture. Bravo personalities tend to know each other, or at least know of each other.
Here, that was not the case.
Not Looking for Anything — and Not Playing Into It
GettyHiggins also made it clear she isn’t interested in turning the moment into something more.
“I’m not looking for anything,” she said. “I’m open, but I’m not searching.”
That mindset matters. In another scenario, a moment like this could easily spiral into dating speculation or storyline chatter. Instead, Higgins shut it down just as quickly as she dismissed the recognition itself.
Her focus, she explained, is on her career and the opportunities currently in front of her.
“I have my own place. I have my own career. I have everything I want,” she said. “There’s so many amazing opportunities coming in for me at the moment. I am so happy by myself.”
Two Reality Worlds, One Very Clear Miss
What makes the moment stand out is not just what was said, but what it reveals.
Reality television often operates like a shared universe, where names, shows, and personalities overlap. But Higgins and Cooke are moving in different circles, even if those circles occasionally brush up against each other.
Cooke’s shoutout may have been meant as a nod. Instead, it highlighted just how separate those worlds can be.
In a space built on recognition, that may be the most telling part.
