Next Gen NYC’s Gia Giudice Experiences Major Relationship Milestone With Long-Term Boyfriend: ‘I survived’

Next Gen NYC” cast member Gia Giudice decided to familiarize herself with the Jersey City transit system with her longtime boyfriend Christian Carmichael as she prepares to move out of her family’s Montville mansion. Gia documented the whirlwind experience in a recent TikTok video.

A Glimpse of Their New Neighborhood

“Okay guys,” Gia began in the video. “I am so excited. We are doing our first PATH ride from Jersey City.”

Christian can be seen in the background of her video. “Christian and I just had lunch in Jersey City cause I’m moving so soon.”

Gia said she was on her way to New York City to visit her “Next Gen NYC” castmate Brooks Marks, which is why they had to finally brave the PATH train together.

On their way to the station, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” daughter documented the city’s historic downtown district. “Look how cute this little neighborhood is,” Gia gushed. “Wait, I’m dying, like, this is so beautiful. This is going to be my new home.”

She went on to point out how convenient their commute was to the station. “We’re at the Grove Street PATH. That took a total of maybe one minute.”

“I’m so excited for this,” Gia said before they headed in.

Surviving the PATH Train

“Here we go,” Gia began as she and Christian took the escalator down.

The pair then found themselves at an impasse, unsure of which train they were supposed to take. “Which way do we go?” she wondered.

The video cut to Christian going through the turnstiles before they successfully boarded the train just before it left the station. “Christian just got onto the PATH by like, the skin of, like, his teeth,” Gia said, teasing her boyfriend that she should have been recording to capture the moment.

“Everyone’s looking at us like, ‘look at these first timers,'” Gia shared just before they realized that they had gotten on the wrong train.

“I don’t know where we are,” she admitted. The couple had to rush to board another train, and again, they just barely made it in time.

“We’re on the right train,” Gia stated. She shared how worried she was that she would have to ask “everyone [for help]. This is, like, not that easy.”

After a couple more stops, Gia and Christian finally made it to the Big Apple. “Brooks, here we come,” she said. “Okay, that wasn’t as bad as I thought, but it’s definitely confusing to know what train to get on.”

They eventually made their way to Brooks’ NYC apartment. “I survived the PATH everyone,” Gia celebrated. “I survived the PATH.”

“Was it your first time taking it?” asked Brooks.

“To here, yeah,” Gia confirmed.

“Good job,” Brooks said before the two “Next Gen NYC” stars high-fived. “Proud of you.”

Gia & Christian’s Big Move

The reason Gia wanted to move out in the first place was due to her increasingly busy schedule that required frequent trips to NYC, which was about an hour commute from Teresa Giudice’s home.

“It’s a lot,” Gia Giudice said in an interview with Today. “My schedule has only picked up since ‘Next Gen NYC,’ which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming ‘Next Gen,’ and no one knew that we were filming it.”

“It’s just my career kind of started picking up and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it’s a lot of back and forth from Jersey.”

Going back and forth between the two locations was “super exhausting,” she claimed.

Gia posted a reel on Instagram back in September where she documented her apartment hunting process. She wrote in the caption of the video, “so so so excited for this new chapter in my life!!”

Her mom showed her support for her daughter in the comments. “So happy for you ❤️❤️❤️.”
