Paige DeSorbo is taking on big things. She’s already made her mark as a reality TV star on Bravo’s “Summer House” and fashion designer with her ready-to-lounge brand Daphne. Now, it looks like she’s adding actress to that impressive resume.
In August, DeSorbo surprised fans when she was seen on the set of the upcoming sequel, “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” Since then, she has stayed quiet about the possibility of making an appearance in the highly anticipated film until her recent appearance on CBS Mornings.
Paige DeSorbo Teases at Big-Screen Debut in ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’
GettyWill moviegoers see Paige DeSorbo in “The Devil Wears Prada 2” when it lands in theatres next year? There’s a very possible chance the reality star makes a cameo in the fashion film after her interview with CBS Mornings on Sept. 30.
DeSorbo was a guest on the morning show to discuss her new clothing line, Daphne, but what really intrigued viewers was when host Gayle King wondered about a possible role in the highly anticipated film.
“Big rumor about you and I know it’s top, top secret, zip, zip zip, but all the rumors about you possibly being in some form in ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ What a movie to be in, if it’s true,” King said.
DeSorbo didn’t confirm whether she’s in the film, but her playful dodging of the question seemed like a big hint that she might be.
“If that’s true, that would be crazy,” she said. “If that was true and if I was seen on the set, I would be super excited, if I was there and I would love that.”
She added, “That would be insane.”
According to People, DeSorbo was photographed on the set of the sequel in August, wearing a very fashion-forward look that strongly suggested she would be making an appearance in the film. The “Summer House” star wore a pink mini dress made of feathers with a slick back ponytail.
DeSorbo Shot Down the Opportunity to Star in ‘Special Forces’
GettyDeSorbo became known for “bed-rotting” alongside her “Summer House” co-stars Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller, so when she got a call to star on one of the most competitive reality TV shows, she was taken aback.
While speaking at a panel at Byrdie Social Club in New York City on Sept. 18 (via People), DeSorbo revealed that she was shocked when she was asked to join season 4 of Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” The reality show sees several reality stars, celebrities, and athletes taking on military-style missions like jumping out of helicopters and going through grueling challenges.
“I’m like, ‘Are you guys kidding me?’ I was just so mad to get called for it,” she said. “I was like, ‘What about me thinks I would do that show?”
Among the contestants starring on the current season of “Special Forces” are four Bravo stars: “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” icon Teresa Giudice, her daughter, Gia Giudice, former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille, and “The Valley’s” Brittany Cartwright. However, Cartwright self-eliminated on the first day, after struggling with challenges.
