“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is bringing Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, and Emily Charlton back nearly 20 years after the original movie became a fashion-world favorite.
The sequel, which hits theaters May 1, follows the next chapter for the Runway magazine characters, with Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt all returning.
Page Six reported that the movie also includes several surprise cameos, ranging from a major pop star to fashion and reality TV names.
Lady Gaga Makes a Surprise ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2′ Appearance’
One of the biggest cameos in the sequel comes from Lady Gaga, who appears in the movie as a pop star, according to Page Six.
The “Paparazzi” singer also recorded and recently released a song and accompanying music video with Doechii for the movie, appropriately titled “RUNWAY.”
Meryl Streep, who returns as Miranda Priestly, said during an April 29 appearance on “Heart Breakfast” that she personally reached out to Gaga about joining the film.
Getty“I thought, I might as well try her,” Streep said. “I just said, ‘Would you do this? Because it’s going to be really good.’ And she said, ‘Yeah!'”
Streep said the “Abracadabra” singer—who supported the film off-screen, attending the New York City premiere on April 20 in a glam red carpet look—agreed despite an already packed schedule.
“Just like that,” Streep continued. “She’s on her world tour, which lasted a year, playing to 75,000 people in a stadium and just flew off and did this.”
Jenna Bush Hager and Donatella Versace Also Join the Movie
Jenna Bush Hager may not have a long scene in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” but her cameo comes with serious bragging rights.
The “TODAY” co-host said on the April 29 broadcast that she filmed with Streep and Hathaway.
Bush Hager laughed about how short the scene is, warning viewers that they may miss it if they are not paying close attention.
“If you blink, then you won’t see me,” she said.
She also admitted the moment was intimidating. Bush Hager said her “knees were shaking” during filming, though she could only loosely remember what she said on camera.
According to Bush Hager, the exchange involved Miranda Priestly introducing her to Andy Sachs before she responded with a compliment about an interview.

In the 2006 film, Miranda Priestly famously tells someone, “Call Donatella. Get her jet.”
Nearly 20 years later, Versace appears on-screen herself. According to Page Six, the designer has a lunch scene involving Emily Charlton before Andy Sachs enters the moment.
Versace also attended the London premiere and told Upcoming on April 23 that being part of the movie was “a dream,” the outlet reports.
Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner Bring Bravo Into the Sequel
The cameo list also reaches into the Bravo universe.
Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner appear together in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” giving “Summer House” viewers another reason to watch closely when the sequel arrives.
Berner confirmed the appearance in an April 21 Instagram post, where she shared a photo from the set with DeSorbo. In the image, the two are dressed for a formal scene while holding champagne.
“Surprise!” Berner wrote. “Please don’t treat us differently!!!!!”
She also joked that the appearance lasts only three seconds, so viewers may have to pay close attention to catch them.
DeSorbo and Berner are both former “Summer House” cast members, who have also built a following together outside the show as co-hosts of the “Giggly Squad” podcast.
George Clooney’s Lake Como Home Gets a Surprise Moment
George Clooney is not listed as one of the sequel’s celebrity cameos, but one of his most famous properties still made it into the movie.
Villa Oleandra, Clooney’s home on Lake Como, appears in a trailer for “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” according to Page Six.
The glimpse comes during a boat scene featuring Andy Sachs and Emily Charlton, adding another real-life luxury landmark to the fashion-heavy sequel.

“Oh, man, I made it,” Clooney said.
The actor also said the home “holds a special place” in his heart, according to the outlet, adding that Emily Blunt is a “dear friend,” giving the cameo a personal connection even though he does not appear on-screen himself.
