The dress was long and black, with a corset-like top, complete with three large buttons and cutout details on the sides and back. It also included a large slit up the side, ending at Hathaway’s thigh.

The actress also shared a sweet clip of them on Instagram on Thursday, April 23. In the caption, she wrote, “The Devil Wears Prada. And Versace. And Vuitton. Love you @donatella_versace.”

Anne Hathaway Discusses ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Evolution
GettyAnne Hathaway has already had many memorable red-carpet style moments during the promotions for “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” and she is often celebrated for her effortlessly chic style.
There is much anticipation for the new film, in which Hathaway reprises her role as Andy Sachs, a role she was excited to take on. However, 20 years later, there are also some differences in the character’s evolution. “I think we’re both more confident,” she told People on the red carpet on April 22. “I think that 20 years ago Andy Sachs was really worried about getting it right, and she really wanted to please her boss, and now, I think that she wants to be herself. And I relate to that.”
Hathaway also discussed how the film, known for its incredible fashion, had one scene cut that People described as her “personal highlight,” which included a look she loved. “I think it was a Phoebe Philo t-shirt, train thing,” she said. “It was a garment more than anything else, but I loved it so much.”
