Brooke Shields has a new reason to smile. The actress’ family recently added an adorable puppy named Shippy to the household.
The actress and Hallmark star made a sweet appearance in a new TikTok shared by her eldest daughter, Rowan Henchy, who introduced the family’s newest furry addition to followers.
The heartwarming video quickly delighted fans as Rowan revealed the tiny puppy, lovingly named Shippy.
Rowan Was Exited About the New Member
“So, there has been a really large development in the Shields-Henchy household,” Rowan, 23, said at the beginning of the clip before holding up the sleeping puppy in her lap.
“This is Shippy,” she announced.
An unidentified voice could be heard off camera chiming in with, “She’s perfect.”
Throughout the video, Shippy appeared completely relaxed as she snuggled into Rowan’s arms while family members admired the newest member of the household.
Rowan couldn’t help but gush over the little pup’s unique appearance.
“She’s perfect because she looks like a little goat,” she joked.
Mom Brooke Shields, 61, soon joined the fun, stepping into the frame to cuddle and kiss the tiny dog before passing her back to Rowan.
“This is the newest puppy,” Rowan continued, gently moving Shippy’s paws as though she were dancing.
“Are you kidding me? Look at this face. And she has a big belly, and she just loves to be cradled like a baby.”
Later in the video, Rowan’s younger sister, Grier Hammond Henchy, 20, also stopped by to shower Shippy with attention.
Fans Can’t Get Enough
Fans immediately filled the comments section with messages celebrating the adorable new addition.
“Shields-Henchy Household… says it all. What a blessed life. 🩷 This puppy will be very happy!!” one person wrote.
Another commented, “Thank you for adopting/rescuing.”
Others kept their reactions simple.

Shields shares Rowan and Grier with her husband, screenwriter and producer Chris Henchy. The couple married in April 2001 and have often shared glimpses of their close-knit family over the years.
Rowan graduated from Wake Forest University in 2025 and has built a sizable following on TikTok and Instagram, where she frequently shares moments from her everyday life.
The Family Loves Their Furry Friends
Shippy is not the family’s first canine companion.
The new puppy joins the Shields-Henchy household alongside their dogs Tuzi and Cluny.
Earlier this year, Rowan featured both dogs in a social media collaboration with the Animal Farm Foundation, posing with each pup in a series of photos.
Brooke also famously introduced Tuzi shortly after bringing the puppy home in 2023.
“World, meet Tuzi,” she captioned an Instagram carousel at the time. “Tuzi, meet world. You know we couldn’t go long without puppy love in our house. 🐾🥹🐶🩷.”
Now, with little Shippy officially joining the pack, it’s clear there is no shortage of puppy love in the Shields-Henchy home.
