Hannah Berner made her reality TV debut on season 3 of Bravo’s “Summer House,” leaving after the conclusion of season 5. Still, her departure proved to be a turning point: alongside co-star Paige DeSorbo, she launched their highly successful “Giggly Squad” podcast, which led to a nationwide tour and their New York Times best-seller, “How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously.”

While Berner is well known for her comedic chops, she’s also showcasing a more glamorous side, stepping into the modeling world and embracing her confident, sultry side with her debut in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Hannah Berner Makes Her SI Swimsuit 2026 Debut

Former “Summer House” star Hannah Berner is one of this year’s models for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, making her rookie debut for the famous publication.

Sharing a photo of Berner’s highly anticipated debut on Instagram, the comedian poses on the beach in a turquoise string bikini, with a gray button-down draped loosely around her arms. Berner showcased her toned physique, with her long hair on one side, as she also went for a more natural makeup look.

In no time, Berner’s Bravo family quickly filled the comment section, showering her new photo with tons of love.

“IM SCREAAAMINGGGGG !!!” Berner’s former “Summer House” co-star Ciara Miller wrote. “[You’re] so hot,” Paige DeSorbo shared, following it up with, “OMGGGGGGG.”

Former “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay commented, “WOWZA!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” while RHONY star Erin Lichy said, “Okayyyyy.”

Berner also shared behind-the-scenes moments of her photoshoot with the magazine, showcasing herself posing in several different swimsuits, including a fun shoot inside an ice cream shop in Montauk, where she sits on top of a table.

“You guys know I’m so so so shy so this is hard for me but here is bts of my booty on @si_swimsuit!!!” Her caption read.

According to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Berner was one of eight women chosen to model for this year’s magazine in Montauk, New York. Other famous names to join Berner included Nina Agdal, Remi Bader, Nicole Williams English, Erin Marley Klay, Tunde Oyeneyin, Ali Truwit, and XANDRA.

Berner & Paige DeSorbo to Star in New Scripted Comedy Series

During an interview with Parade in March 2025, Berner shared that she hasn’t completely ruled out reality TV forever.

When asked if she would return to “Summer House” alongside her husband, Des Bishop, she said, “I’m not sure. Things would have to like, make sense for us. Because you know, we’d want to keep it real, but again, you know I’m married, and I nap a lot … If people want to watch it, we’ll talk.”

But reality TV doesn’t seem to be in Berner’s future just yet, after Deadline recently revealed in March that she and DeSorbo are set to headline a new comedy series slated for Netflix. The scripted series will also be written by the two women and produced by Amy Poehler, while Kay Cannon, known for her work in “Pitch Perfect,” will serve as co-writer and showrunner.

“Set in NYC, the Untitled Hannah and Paige project stars Berner and DeSorbo as fictionalized versions of themselves as they become the ultimate ride-or-dies, helping each other shed their baggage and emerge as the people they’ve always wanted to be,” a synopsis for the show reads.
