‘Bold’ Porsha Williams Candidly Admits She’s Talking to Both a Man and a Woman

Porsha Williams is entering a bold new chapter — and she’s not holding back.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star stunned fans when she took the stage at New York City’s CultureCon over the weekend and dropped a revelation about her dating life that no one saw coming.

The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Opens Up About Her Love Life

Williams, 44, surprised the crowd when she revealed she’s currently dating both a man and a woman.

“Of the people I am talking to now … he is nice,” Williams told the audience, pausing before adding, “And she is nice.”

In the clip, posted by @realitytowncry, the audience erupted in gasps and cheers, with one fan shouting, “You’re bold!” Laughing off the reaction, Williams explained that this new dating phase feels completely different from her marriage to Guobadia.

“I really wanted to make sure these were normal people,” she said. “And what I talked about with my therapist the other day was, I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists. And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you, they do everything to look perfect, they mirror you.”

Porsha Williams Reflects on Her Divorce From Simon Guobadia

Williams finalized her divorce from Guobadia on June 11. The businessman, who appeared at the hearing via Zoom, was deported from the U.S. due to immigration violations tied to bank and credit card fraud.

“I didn’t expect today to be emotional,” Williams said earlier this year to OK! Magazine. “But the moment I sat down at that vanity and started brushing my hair, just like Angela [Bassett] in the movie … it hit me: I’ve prettied up the ugly in my life too, when it wasn’t so pretty. And I’m done doing that.”

Reflecting on their whirlwind romance, Williams admitted she dove in headfirst. “Once I decide to be with you, I dedicate everything to you,” she explained. “And Simon matched my energy. He’s very warm. He loved spending time with me. We were freakin’ extra. If we wanted to fly out of the country every weekend or post on Instagram together about how much we loved each other, he was down.”

Ultimately, filing for divorce was an act of self-protection. “Honestly, I feel like I filed before I was ready to file. I filed out of necessity to protect myself,” she confessed. “This one, I would think he would feel like it was a blindside for him. He was so used to me always finding a way to compromise what’s best for me. And this time I just didn’t do that.”

Williams also emphasized how clarity eventually came with time. “You go through different stages,” she said. “You have that anger, you have the moment where you have to fight for your life in a court situation. And then, toward the end, you have the clarity where you realize you are still blessed. Your family is by your side, your child is protected; there’s a whole new life that you can start.”

Porsha Williams will return to RHOA season 17, which is expected to premiere on Bravo in 2026.
