Shep Rose is starting a new chapter. Following his “situationship” with former pageant queen Sienna Evans, the longtime “Southern Charm” star revealed he’s setting his sights on something more permanent—buying a new home. The upcoming season will give fans an inside look at the change, which comes after Rose confirmed his single status at Bravo Fan Fest in late 2024.
Shep Rose Sets His Sights on ‘Something More Permanent’
At the start of season 10, Rose’s romance with Evans was still fresh. He admitted he was “so enthralled” with her, but friends questioned the connection after noticing Evans’ emotional distance during a group trip to the Bahamas. By November 2024, Rose confirmed their relationship had ended and that he was back on dating apps, calling their long-distance romance “tough.”
Now, season 11 is showcasing a different side of Rose. According to Bravo’s season announcement, “After his situationship with Sienna, Shep is focused on something more permanent – purchasing a new house.”
Rose had teased a real estate move as early as 2023, sharing that he’d been scouting properties outside South Carolina.
“In Montana, Wyoming. Colorado. I did a tour of out West,” he told BravoTV.com at the time. “I ended up having a hell of a lot of fun… seeing some real estate, meeting some cool people. But the interest rates, the mortgage rates, it’s just. Crazy. It’s not the right time. Not now. But I do love out West. I do love Montana, and fishing and hunting and stuff.”
The South Caroline native also renovated his Isle of Palms beach house and listed it for rent. He explained to the Post and Courier that his family encouraged him to find a home that wasn’t so “beach bungalow.” At the time of the interview, he had put an offer on a Sullivan’s Island home. “It’ll be nice to have two properties,” Rose said. “I feel like I’m all grown up at age 45.”
The ‘Southern Charm’ Star Talks ‘Deep-Seated Differences’ In Season 11
Beyond real estate, Rose’s friendships are set to take center stage this season. He hinted that his dynamic with Craig Conover and Austen Kroll will be more complicated than ever.
Speaking to Us Weekly in July, Rose teased that season 11 will highlight “deep-seated relationships” and “deep-seated differences” between the group. “We all kind of have the dirt on each other, so that’s always lurking,” he said with a laugh. “We talk about that this season, me, Craig and Austen and Whitney [Sudler-Smith], too. It’s like, ‘Guys, we have to stop playing Gotcha so much.’ Sometimes we can weaponize information and we’re all guilty of it.”
Rose also revealed that Conover’s story arc will be a standout, noting that he’s “coming off that breakup — very public breakup — [so] get ready.”
“Southern Charm” season 11 premieres November 19 on Bravo.
