Farrah Aldjufrie and Zach Goldsmith may have only recently taken their relationship public, but their history goes back years.
The daughter of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards surprised fans in July when she announced she was expecting her first child but chose not to identify the father. More than a month later, Aldjufrie finally confirmed Goldsmith is her partner and the father of her baby while revealing another major piece of news: they’re having a boy.
Now, new details are shedding light on how the former “Buying Beverly Hills” costars went from longtime friends and colleagues to starting a family together.
Farrah Aldjufrie and Zach Goldsmith Knew Each Other for Years
Aldjufrie and Goldsmith’s connection began well before their romance.
Both work at The Agency, the luxury real estate brokerage founded by Aldjufrie’s stepfather, Mauricio Umansky, and both appeared on the Netflix reality series “Buying Beverly Hills.”
Goldsmith also has a longstanding connection to Aldjufrie’s family.
A source told Us Weekly that Goldsmith and Umansky have “done business together for years and are good friends.”
As for Aldjufrie and Goldsmith, the source said the two had also “known each other for years” before their relationship changed while filming “Buying Beverly Hills.”
They “became closer” during production, according to the outlet.
That history makes their newly public relationship less of a sudden development than fans might have initially assumed.
When Did Farrah Aldjufrie and Zach Goldsmith Start Dating?
According to Us Weekly, Goldsmith separated from his wife, Jennifer Hamilton-Goldsmith, in 2024 and began dating Aldjufrie shortly afterward.
A source told the outlet that Aldjufrie and Goldsmith have now “been dating for over a year and a half.”
Goldsmith and Hamilton-Goldsmith share two sons.
The source also offered some insight into the dynamic between the former spouses and Aldjufrie, saying Hamilton-Goldsmith “supports the relationship” and that everyone involved is “cordial.”
Hamilton-Goldsmith’s own public interaction with Aldjufrie seemingly backs that up.
When Aldjufrie announced her pregnancy in July, Hamilton-Goldsmith commented, “Happy for you @farrahbritt :).”
Aldjufrie personally responded, “Thank you so much Jen means a lot 🤍🤍🤍.”
At the time, Aldjufrie had not yet revealed that Goldsmith was her baby’s father.
Farrah and Zach Take Their Romance Public
After keeping the relationship largely out of the spotlight, Aldjufrie finally went public with Goldsmith in August.
The couple confirmed their relationship in a big way while revealing the sex of their baby.
“@Zach Goldsmith and I are having a….” Aldjufrie captioned footage from the celebration, which ended with the couple learning they are expecting a son.
Richards and Umansky were both there for the milestone moment.
Aldjufrie then took another significant step by sharing the couple’s first public photo together on her Instagram Stories. In the sweet snapshot, Aldjufrie held her cat, who was wearing a blue bow collar in honor of the baby news, as Goldsmith leaned toward the pair with his eyes closed.
The public reveal came more than a year after their relationship reportedly began.
For Aldjufrie, it also marks an entirely new chapter following the end of her longtime relationship with Alex Manos. The former couple became engaged in 2021 before ultimately ending their relationship in 2024 after several years together.
Aldjufrie announced her pregnancy on July 3, writing, “My most exciting launch yet. Coming soon late November 2026.”
At the time, Richards celebrated becoming a grandmother in the comments, writing, “I can’t wait for this new chapter!! I love you so much Fairy.”
Now the mystery surrounding that new chapter is gone. Aldjufrie and Goldsmith have gone from longtime friends and coworkers to a couple preparing to welcome their first child together, while Goldsmith will become a father of three.
