“Summer House” star Ciara Miller has built a career spanning reality television, modeling, and healthcare. While many fans know her from Bravo’s hit series, Miller originally trained and worked as a registered nurse.
Now, the reality star is sharing an update about where she stands with her nursing career. During a recent podcast appearance, Miller confirmed that she still maintains her nursing license but is considering a new direction within the field.
The update comes as Miller continues balancing multiple careers while appearing on “Summer House.”
Ciara Miller Shares Nursing Career Update on ‘The Squeeze’
Miller spoke about her current career plans during a February 18 appearance on “The Squeeze” podcast.
During the conversation, Miller explained that she continues to keep her nursing license active. However, she said she is no longer planning to return to bedside nursing after working in critical care and intensive care units earlier in her career.
“I think I’m done with bedside, just because, you know, I did it,” Miller said on the podcast.
“I did my time at bedside, but I’m like, I think there’s a purpose for me outside of bedside, still in the nursing world.”
Miller explained that she still values the knowledge and education she gained through nursing.
“Cause I still love the education and everything, like, all the knowledge. I think it’s vital, you know,” she said.
The reality star also noted that she remains responsible for maintaining her professional credentials.
“I literally need to renew my license by the end of this month,” Miller added.
The ‘Summer House’ Staple Studied Nursing at Chamberlain University
Before joining the cast of “Summer House,” Miller studied nursing at Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
After graduating in 2018, she shared a message on Instagram reflecting on her journey and the challenges she faced while completing the program.
“I love fighting to prove myself wrong but I also love proving all the other people over the years wrong when they told me I would never be a nurse, or when people questioned my intelligence because of my looks,” Miller wrote.
“Welp…MODEL & NURSE now. Here’s to graduating RN & Cum Laude.”
Miller’s nursing career began around the same time she was building a name for herself in modeling and television.

While pursuing nursing, Miller also developed a modeling career that began years earlier.
In a 2023 interview with Authority Magazine, Miller explained that she started modeling as a teenager.
“The start of my journey began when I was 16 years old,” Miller said.
“I was signed to my first modeling agency in Atlanta, Georgia.”
Her modeling career has included several high-profile opportunities. In 2023, Miller modeled for Victoria’s Secret on Instagram and later attended the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October.
For the event, Miller walked the red carpet wearing an abstract white two-piece outfit.
